    PTO Issue?

BullDog, it makes the noise at low and high idol. TJ, I didn't try it sitting on the ground only in the Air. I was busy when I noticed it and didn't have much time to think about it. The noise caught my attention but I didn't think much of it until after I sat down with a cold one at the...

    PTO Issue?

Darren that's a very good point, I'm sure the PTO shaft could use a pump or two. The only reason why it has my curiosity is that the blower has a constant resistance on the PTO, where the the hog really doesn't unless it's cutting something. I probably wouldn't hear it when the hog is cutting...

    PTO Issue?

Thanks Hookie, I should investigate further to pin point it but the noise I'm speaking of comes from the tractor. I'll take a video of it some time this weekend so everyone can hear what I'm talking about. When I engage the PTO with the blower on it sound like...

    PTO Issue?

Hello Everyone! I've been using little orange all summer brush cutting and have not noticed this..... Today I put the snow blower on the tractor to get at something buried behind it in the garage. While it was on I threw it into gear to make sure everything still spun and I noticed...

    It's Gonna Get Cold Soon!

Killington in Vermont opened a week or so ago along with a ski mountain in Maine, I think it wa Sugar Loaf. Had to turn the heat on a few weeks ago :( I have a few outdoor projects going on at the moment and I'm hoping the snow holds off for at least another month.

    BX25 Won't Crank

I'm not familiar with your tractor but have read many times about the seat safety switch causing problems. Fuses can also be something that easily overlooked. I'm sure someone will chime in and point you in the right direction.

    BX2750B Snow Blower Lube

Maybe take another look at the service manual, or look up the manufacture & model # of the gear box itself. I believe most require a half full level so that there is room for the oil to expand when it heats up, but I'm a firm believer on reading the specs because it may be different. Both of...

    Making wood pellets

It's not so much a draft issue your having, I believe you have make up air problem. You have multiple things burning up the air in your home, its creates a negative air pressure within your home. The negative pressure turns your house vacuum drawing cold air through every nook and cranny of...

    Making wood pellets

Your a pretty slick guy Frank, I've never seen someone make pellets before. It looks like you have it down to a science! I don't burn pellets but your system seems like a great way to make heating fuel out of bio mass. I love it when something gets made out of nothing :D.

    Making wood pellets

Can you Tent off the pile of product you want dry and throw a dehumidifier in there? That would dry it out in a few days with turning the pile so the dry air hits it all.

    B6100 owners, identify mystery wire

Are you sure it doesn't go to a toggle switch on the dash that would control an electric clutch off the crank shaft for a mower or snowblower? Just a guess :)

    Newbies

Facebook will rot the brain, I can already see how it is changing kid's lives. Met a few old guys in a bar that worked for IBM a while back. They had a device that would block cell reception within a certain radius of the device. They would laugh at people in the bar sitting by themselves...

    Propane

Not necessarily true. First, it's agains OSHA regs to operate a fuel burning welder indoors unless it is in a 3 sided out building or car port separate from the structure. It could be fixed indoors if the exhaust is piped air tight outdoors with proper ventilation for cooling/combustion air...

Awesome dogs / Crazy pets Thread

Awesome pic of the eagle BearBait, and I'm a sucker for a beagle. Had one myself, hell of a rabbit dog. When she was running she wouldn't venture off too far and always double back to know where I was at.

    Propane

Is it a mobile welder or stays put in your shop? If it stays put, why not have it piped in from the underground tank? Otherwise I agree with TJ.

    Gravel Driveway Maintenance

I'm not bashing engineers but I haven met one yet that didn't make a mistake. Everyone makes mistakes and it always looks good on paper. Recently had to deal with one in FL at a condo complex where my family owns one. It's newer construction where they were having some drainage problems and...

    New-to-me 1982 B7100

Same here, they work absolutely perfect. That's unfortunate he's taken some time off, I must have missed that. I hope all works out well for him because he is a very nice guy. If I remember correctly, I believe he worked with kids from his church and had them helping build the stabilizers...
