Gave the BX its 200 hour fluid and filter change. While the MMM deck was off I cleaned it and pressure washed it along with the rest of the tractor. Other than old grass all over the top of the deck it wasn't all that bad. Have to buy some grease to lube it all up, but will do that next...

Put some paint on it to stop rust and know it may be the first, but wont be the last. Better a dent in the hood then your head. Its not damage, but experience.

You could always start the holes with the smaller auger then get a longer 9" for the last foot or so. I believe standard auger bits are 4' long. Drop it in the hole hook it up and drill away.

I always wondered what those 2 bolts were for. Mine are so out of adjustment they lever will never touch them. Will play with it a little when I get a chance.

I have 5 acres and love my BX1880. The FEL and MMM are perfect for our little horse farm. Just one warning, these things seem to have a need for friends to hang off of the 3 point and quick attach.

Let me correct this. I looked again this weekend and there is a bit of slop in the receiver. The tube is prob 2 1/8". Not a big deal for what I plan on using it for.

Not that I noticed. Hitch slid in smoothly and holes aligned.

No name off off of ebay, was $70. I couldn't justify spending $250 or more for a name brand when I don't use it very often. Its a T shape with braces connecting each corner so should be sturdy enough.

Picked up a 3 point trailer hitch. So nice to be able to back up the horse trailer and lift it without even getting off the tractor.

Replaced the blades on my MMM with gator blades. These things are definitely hefty and a lot thicker than the factory ones. Moved a bit of dirt for a neighbor who just build a garage/shop and had a nice 3' high mound left. an hour of lifting and it was done. Nice workout for the little guy.

Bro-Tek has a skid plate you can leave on with the MMM and front snow blower, they also make a front skid plate that goes with it. Pretty nice of you run without the MMM on. Mine only comes off for servicing so I really don't need it, but for those who do.

Picked up an old fertilizer sprayer frame. Will fix it up and make it a sprayer again or possibly cut it down into a platform for landscaping items. All the plastic bits will be replaced. Just needed the frame.

If I am mowing the loader is off. Takes me 2-3 minutes to put it back on and less to remove.

If its a typical 4' long auger you can look for a shorter one. Tractor Supply used to carry Country Pro augers which were 3' long.

Did the gear oil replacement and cleaned the mower deck on my MMM. Amazing how much grass gets lodged on top of the deck and inside every nook and cranny. Looks like I need a new set of blades as well. Gator blades will be the choice. That will probably be a spring job as grass cutting...
