4400 Hydraulic Issues - New pump, or no?

Just to clarify. Does "spec fluid" mean you used a) actual Kubota SUDT2 or b) something that says it meets SUDT2 specs?

    Kubota Z122EBR won't start

Quality of fuel? It's common for engines with ordinary ethanol blended gas to have fuel delivery problems unless treated with fuel stabilizer. Non-ethanol gas is a better option for small engines, adding stabilizer can't hurt if the gas will sit for extened periods.

So, were the videos + other information helpful or do you still need more details?

    Loader Stand

The loader support stands are built into the loader itself. The procedures for putting on and taking off the loader will be explained in the owner manuals.

    Beginner 3 point hitch question

Here is a 3 pt implement on my little BX. I think it is the same top link as on yours but you may notice the top link is shortened as far as it will go and that is just enough to get the implement level. Yours "should" work the same. but try to get the PTO shaft as straight as possible, as...

RTR2570 - Mechanic keeps saying it’s too big for my L4310

Sorry to hear of your tractor overheating troubles. I ran a 6ft tiller behind my L4610 (essentially the same tractor) for many years with no overheating issues. There was ample power but tilling was slow work. Sounds like you have some good advice about diagnosing and fixing the tractor but...

    Moving rotary cutter around. Dolly?

Here are a couple photos I found. Used large casters with 4 inch wheels. We had dollies for 72" cutter, 72" box blade, 84" scraper blade, 72" tiller, 48" scraper blade, logging winch, 48" box blade, 60" landscape rake. I found that having one fixed pair and one swivel pair of casters allowed...

    Moving rotary cutter around. Dolly?

We made 3 pt implement dollies out of 4x4 lumber with casters for L sized implements. Stored on concrete floor, easy roll up/away, no struggles with on/off the tractor. Used cheap furniture dollies for BX implements, same results. I may have some pics if anyone is interested.

    Tips on not

Lots of good advice about how to setup and operate your equipment. One more idea: fix the potholes on your hillside! You have a loader. If you spent a couple weekends filling in the holes (as many as you can), you'll at least have reduced your exposure to some degree. Several acres will...

    B2620 and 6' land plane

I've used my cousin's B2620 with a 4 ft. box blade, which is a good match. You can't just use hp to decide this, tractor weight is also a big consideration. B2620's are pretty light for 6 ft. ground engaging implements in typical conditions from what I saw. Your mileage may vary of course...

    B2601 3pt left tilt

Yes. On both of my Kubotas (Grand L and BX), adjusting the right 3 pt link to its midpoint made the implement level, lengthening the right link tilted the implement down to the right, and shortening the right link tilted the implement to the left. Each tractor would tilt the same amount in...

    New L3902HST

Tractor cruise control is the same as in a car... if you have long stretches of constant speed, it can give your right foot a break. Otherwise, not used very much.

    M5400

Just an alternative idea. There is an endless variety of affordable automotive fuse block and wiring for off-road 4x4 vehicles. May be easier and cheaper to add such a second fuse block vs. tearing open the factory one. Amazon and others have dozens to choose from.

55 hours on BX1870 and overheating

If it has been used for mowing and the radiator has never been cleaned, that's a prime suspect. Fine debris may be pretty well embedded in there. Warm water and some detergent followed by gentle rinsing, no pressure washers. Had to clean my BX rad several times each mowing season so it became...

    Kubota l4701 will not crank

#2, 3 and 4, from previus message seem most likely to me. Have you tried to jumper it from another vehicle?

    Kubota l4701 will not crank

Several possibilities... you'll need to go down the list to find the culprit. 1. Misadjusted or defective safety switch or wiring thereto 2. Weak battery 3. Corroded battery cables or terminals 4. Bad ground connection to the chassis 5. Bad starter switch 6. Failing starter or solenoid. 7...

    L4310 alternator

On my L4610 (essentially the same tractor as yours), there was a 30A master fuse in the wiring harness on the left side, beneath the alternator. Since you said the starter does crank on yours, it's probably not that fuse, but worth checking anyways.

How does float mode work with bucket?

Yes! Float is very useful, but only going backwards! It only takes a slight snag going forwards to pop the front wheels off the ground. Also nice and slow does best.

Will I break the transmission by running chains on rear tires in 4x4?

Great explanation that also relates to the questions many new owners have regarding the need for ample rear ballast, especially with front loaders.

    BX Series 3 Pt Hitch

Will be interesting to see how something like that works on such a small tractor. Hope it gets the job done for you!
