    BX25D -> L2501?

WyeMtn had the older L3310, not the L3301 you are pondering. I made a similar mistake with an L3650 vs. the newer L3560 when giving advice recently.

Geez Ford, hoping you and all the guys down there stay safe!! PS - I’m assuming the blue dot on the map is your ‘hood?!?! Hadn’t noticed it until now....geez...stay smart and safe!!

    What's cookin' boys?

I was a pretty good breakfast cook many years ago. Supper tonight was an omelette. Red onion, ham, mushrooms, garlic, provolone cheese. A little hot sauce on top. Somebody ate half of it before I could take a picture....

    B2320 won't start

Betting it’s the battery....heck, it’s a guess, but given the limited information I have a decent chance.... Buzz - like the others said it’s tough to diagnose with little to work with.

    L245DT drag link end needed!

If you haven't done so, try Lance AKA 007kubotaguy. Send him a message. He reacted to your post and has many older L parts. He's helped a bunch of folks out here on similar missions.

Can anyone identify this model snowblower

Like torch - - I read years ago that at least some Kubota Snowblowers were made in Canada by RadTech. Not saying it's not a McKee, but this new model looks close too. https://jswoodhouse.com/brochures/BerVac BlizzardSnowBl.pdf One thing I notice is that impellor housing has the "interrupted"...

    Tractor sizing

I've heard they're great. I just picked one smaller and one larger, as both had come up here. Honestly, I think you're heading in the right direction with an Lxx01, as you are familiar with them and the financing sounds advantageous.

    Tractor sizing

A couple years back chim that said he wished he bought his fourth tractor first..... He's walked a mile in those shoes. I think his L4240 is his favorite for mowing the lawn, too...:) For giggles, check out the LX3310 and L3560. But I'm beginning to the think the L3301 or L3901 are where...

    Tractor sizing

Okay - - you have the round bale thing figured out just fine, and I think you have a good handle on the specifications for each model. Have you physically sat on any of them? Operated any at a dealership? If you haven't, might be the logical next step.

    Tractor sizing

Maybe I'm oversimplifying things, but in looking at your list of required work, is the "occasional round bale" your limiting factor? A BX or B will do everything else, just a LOT slower. After your experience with the 25 HP Cub Cadet, sounds like you want/need something a little more stout. I...

    f2560 randomly cuts out

You don't see many F-series posts here. No, I don't think brakes are a concern for you, either. For what it's worth, try looking for a Workshop Manual (WSM), it might help greatly. I did see a couple/few F-series here....worth a shot. If not, I'd suggest buying one...

    What's cookin' boys?

Skeets - - breakfast sounds great! Good for you! 👍 As an aside - - I missed your brass polisher/spit-drive pictures until the other day. Great job posting pictures! 👍 :geek: As far a a rub - - I wish I could help better. Others guys know better, and make me look like a rookie cook with...

    What's cookin' boys?

I haven’t. I did look at that Pit Boss at Tractor Supply. I’m honestly not that impressed with many/most I’ve looked at. Whatever I do, it will be propane, because I think I’ve got an ethyl mercaptan addiction...arises mostly while cooking and drinking beer.😜🍺 If I do a smoker, it will be a...

    What's cookin' boys?

Last night was shrimp scampi, sautéed broccoli and garlic toast. Also made a pumpkin cheesecake for the Mrs. birthday. We’ll have that today.... needed some chill time. Cheesecake is about as close as I get to baking.

    b2650 tire chains help

As always, SDT offer solid advice. I find 2-link chains to be very important. 4-link are cheaper, but less effective and will jar you around much more. Also, it sounds foolish, but it's important to put them on as good as you can at first. Then drive the tractor some. After a short bit...

    udt versus udt2

The amount of fluid in the cylinders, implements, etc. are minimal compared to the tractor’s capacity. Not a problem switching fluids. Also, I believe all Kubota UDT types are compatible with each other, so not an issue changing between UDT types anyway.

    L3430 questions

Before horsing on the joystick too much, it might be worth looking at the valve itself and it linkage to the 'stick. As you say, the linkage may not be getting you to the detent. Another common cause for lack of float is the end of the lift spool gets water/rust and junk in it, interfering...

    Advice on what to buy

Don't know model #, but blower, front hitch and mid-PTO could be $5,000 +/-. Seems like push blade to go on the front hitch is $1,500 or so. Add $2k for the grapple/3rd function, like 'Cat mentioned. There's some serious $$ in the attachments on the used one. 150 hours isn't much.

    udt versus udt2

Donjos - - I see you're in Canada. I think availability Kubota UDT-variants is different in Canada than US. Seems like SUDT2 is not available up there, but UDT2 is. Some of your Canadian compatriots might be able to help. For an HST machine, I would get the latest and greatest you can...
