    flooded desiel

Are you sure you didn't get a bad batch of fuel where gasoline got mixed with diesel? I have heard of issues at the fuel supplier, as well as the customer himself accidentially getting wrong fuel. If it was running good and died with black smoke and won't run, I'd suspect gasoline contamination.

First time out, already stuck in mud!

Best way not to get stuck is to get a few sheets of OSB for $8 and put them down and drive along on top of them and do your work on those platforms.

    BX23TLB Front Knuckle seal replacement?

Tollie, you will need a REAL GOOD set of snap ring pliers to get that knuckle apart. Once you pull off the hub assembly (it is o-ringed on so might take a good amount of wiggling and prying with a screwdriver to get out) you will see the bottom of the knuckle and the snap ring that needs to come...

1985 Kubota B7200 HSTD - Where Is The Fuel Gauge/Charging System Fuse ?

My B9200 is up front near the lights in front of the radiator....if you don't find it behind the dash, look forward....

    High Altitude Operations

B3200 is a non turbo motor (turbo motors compensate for altitude). Since you have a standard diesel, I have seen some threads that suggest retarding the timing to compensate for the higher altitude. The engine won't produce as much power at higher altitude but should still run. One option is...

Help with L2250 Front Axle Leak

Wingmoto, looks like from the pic your front axle pivot seals are shot too. Common wear item on L and B series machines. Btw, I see you're in NH. I used to contract for Townline Equipment over in Plainfield, NH. You likely have dealers closer, but Townline has a great reputation and will...

    Help needed with hydraulic filter

B2150DT, welcome to the forum! I've worked on Kubota's for over 8yrs and serviced hundreds of machines. I personally have a B9200 (predecessor to the B2150) and I found that an AFTERMARKET Napa filter on my machine collapsed internally!!!!!!! Buy your filters online and ONLY use Kubota...

    B3350 dpf issues

Guys, almost ALL oem's have trouble implementing a DPF system. Ford and GM have had plenty of issues themselves. I don't know if I've heard of a DPF that does work properly 100% of the time, or doesn't end up burning MORE fuel than something without....it just makes no sense to burn more fuel...

    B9200/2150 power steering rebuild?

I searched the forum without much luck so posting up here. Has anyone had to rebuild their B2150/B9200 power steering box? I can see the diagram/parts online but it doesn't show which things are "likely" to need to be replaced. I'm thinking of all of the 0-rings and bushings to start but...

b9200 with FEL - i need a correct size ballast box

I have a B9200 (I see you have another post out here too I responded to) and I use approx 800lb counterweight. According to the specifications, the tractor is designed to lift a 1000-1200lb weight depending on how far it is out on the arms. I used a 18"x18"x5' waste concrete block and broke it...

    b9200 turf tires

I've never tried but I'm 95% sure you will need narrower rims for ag tires vs the turf ones. One thing to consider, I see you're only a little bit away from me in Mass vs CT...I have turf tires on my B9200 and I was offered a set of chains from my dad but there isn't much clearance around the...

B2150 two piece front wheels cracking, tires shot.

I made a post about this a few months ago...I have a B9200 (model before the 2150) with the 2 piece rims that also cracked. I went with a one piece rim from Kubota and put a Multi-Trac 24x9.50x12 tire on it. It fits very similar to my original firestone 24x8.50x12 and there are no issues with...

    kubota l185 trans/hydro screen cleaning???

Ozzie, I'm not 100% sure on the L185 but on most Kubota's I have serviced there is a giant banjo bolt that you need to remove in order to access the filter. The bolt goes through the hydraulic line and atttaches it to the side of your transmission housing. The screen is on the end of the bolt...

B7800 with exhaust stack, and muffler removed

Additionally all of that leverage 3+ ft away from the 4 bolt flange is sure to cause issues. Even without the loader frame mount or with that rubber mounted, you're talking about SERIOUS torque/vibration away from the flange.

B7800 with exhaust stack, and muffler removed

Looks good, just keep in mind that the motor shakes back and forth a bit and that will cause stress and strain on either your welds or the manifold. I don't know how much that cast manifold is but I wouldn't want to have to replace it. Can you post up a video with sound of the tractor without...

    Bx2200

kammuggins, this has been talked about elsewhere on the forum several times. Completely normal for a Kubota (or any diesel). You likely do NOT have anything wrong with your motor. If the oil isn't milky and the coolant is staying full with no bubbles in it, and your machine has...

    Has damage been done?

+2 on Wolfman's comment. That is what HST's do. Most machines, including the big M tractors don't really have power to pull any sort of hill in high range, especially if you have a load on back or in the bucket. Think of high as a transport gear, used for heading down a road, nothing more...

How to fill the tires with ballast

Squirm, I know there is a special process/machine for filling the tires at more tire shops. I honestly am not sure how you would do it without making a special tank which you can fill with water and have a air hose come out the bottom, then seal and pressurize so it forces the liquid out the...
