    B2150 Fuel Filter replacement

An official Kubota filter will take a bit of pressure to get that filter on the filter housing. I think there is an o ring that it has to go over. I have had to reach up and push on the metal base rather than on the bottom (other end) of the filter to get it to seat. A bit of pressure and it...

    B7510 Neutral and starting

There is a sensor for that pedal that likely needs replacement. You should be able to find it on the parts diagram for your model HST on the kubota website. Some installations are harder than others depending on the model.

    Tractor runs then quits

Make sure the wrapper is off of your fuel filter, since you say you just changed it...that has been done before and confounded people for quite a while. Ensure you don't have gas in your diesel tank. Ensure you're getting fuel. This means adding at least 5 gallons of diesel to your tank...

    Blowing hydro filters

Sounds silly but when you say blowing filters, do you mean blowing out the o-ring or physically exploding the metal? If you have the wrong filter diameter/style on there, the gasket won't line up and will cause blow outs. Also, if you have a FEL but its disconnected, you need to hook up the...

    Fel lifting ability

Lift capacity is a function of the tractor weight, counter weight, hydraulic capacity, and lift point. If you're using forks, you will be able to lift less weight at the end of the forks than if you had something at the back of the bucket. Lift height also makes a difference as leverage...

DIY toothbar - quick and sturdy, reasonable price!

I've seen some of the toothbars that everyone has made on the forum here and it got me thinking that I need one! Like many of you I prefer the satisfaction of doing something myself and also saving money. The teeth were in a kit on ebay, 5 weldable shanks plus the replaceable teeth were about...

BX1850 dies after working hard for an hour or so.

Make sure you're changing BOTH the fuel filters, the one on the side of the motor and the one before the fuel pump. If filters and fuel level aren't the issue, could be your fuel pump OR the relay/fuse for that. I have seen relays fail when they're warm but work fine when they're cold.

    Stuck Filter Solution

Glad my suggestion helped you Justacafe, I have used that thing for just about everything and NEVER had a problem. It will go down to the little tiny BX oil filters and all the way up to the largest M series hydro filters, and everything inbetween!

    Fueling my L3800 sucks !

Bluegill, you can put a simple 1/4 turn valve on these jugs since they have standard pipe thread built into the cap. Starting with a full or empty jug is the same, flip it over and insert fill hose into your tank fill spout, THEN flip the 1/4 turn lever. We use em for our Lemons racing and...

    Stuck Filter Solution

Looks like a spanner wrench would help remove that. I have used my adjustable oil filter wrench several times to remove those. I put a good 3/8" extension and 3/8" ratchet on it and they always come loose...

    Advice on Tractor Size

Eric is right on with his B3030 recommendation as a start point. Stay away from the new stuff that has a DPF setup on it. You will want something with a mid mount PTO so you can have a front mount snowblower to remove that 115" of snow yearly. I personally love HST for tight spots, loader...

    Gravel on grass?

I've seen those power broom attachments on a string trimmer powerhead (Sthil) work mint. http://www.stihlusa.com/products/multi-task-tools/accessories/kombisystem-attachments/kwpwrswp/ Doesn't hurt your lawn but gets all the rocks and dirt back where it belongs.

    L48 V2430-M-TLB Kubota 48hp engine for sale

Selling the engine and flywheel out of my dad's L48 kubota. It swallowed a bit of water and the engine stopped. There are no holes in the block but it is assumed that there is a broken or bent rod since the engine will not rotate even with injectors and glow plugs removed. The oil was drained...

    flooded desiel

Carhartfarm, I'll mention it one more time. Before you ASSUME that its a complicated and expensive fix, have you checked my suggestion? The LIKELYHOOD of jumping teeth on steel gears is FAR less likely than contaminated fuel. The LIKELYHOOD of a sudden loss of compression or whatever on a...

    Fueling my L3800 sucks !

Race fuel jugs from Jegs or Summit racing....they have a standard 3/4" black iron pipe thread so you can put a shut off on them if you wish and a long flexible hose. CHEAPER than any of the stupid environmentally friendly ones that cause us to spill more than we actually did BEFORE they went to...
