    Things are looking up !

That's not the way inflation numbers work. Our inflation has our costs baked in. There isn't any reason to count the same thing twice unless you are trying to make excuses to people who don't understand math.

    Things are looking up !

My eggs are still about $20 for a bag of layer feed every so often. ;) Well, wife also gives them treats and I give them clover/alfalfa from the yard/field. I don't get the global inflation argument. Most of us don't live globally. If their prices are higher/lower, it doesn't help/hurt us.

    Looking at an L6060HSTC

I’d get the loader with more capacity, or an MX.

What's the right implement for the L2501 for driveway resurfacing/grading?

It's your time and money. Report back how you like it the first time you do your driveway. :D

What's the right implement for the L2501 for driveway resurfacing/grading?

It's not that hard to break up potholes. I fix those in the community road. You lower a scarifier and drive in a zig-zag pattern until it breaks up. I usually do all of them in a section. Then, I raise the scarifier and make passes until the road looks good to me. Fwiw, I rarely use more...

What's the right implement for the L2501 for driveway resurfacing/grading?

I think a land plane/grader scraper is the best choice. For a long driveway, it's very easy to use. The stone/gravel automatically and will move it from right to left. It's what I use to maintain our community road and my long driveway.

    Almost time to winterize ...

I think that's too much trouble, but my rear tires are loaded. ;)

    Double Steps

I think a fabricator could reinforce the floor with metal easily. On the other hand, they make steps to allow for big people. I'm pretty sure that there are some here over 300 lbs based on what they've said. I carry 5 gallons of diesel up my step, and I'm sure the heavy people probably do...

    Almost time to winterize ...

I'm just wondering who else hasn't put their chains on yet. My power company has kept my grader/scraper on for extra time since they are changing out the underground power lines. I'm hoping I can fix their mess pretty soon.

    Hydraulic HST filter change

I agree strap wrenches are very good to break the overtightened filter or paint.

    New trailer

Congrats! Just keep and eye on the welds and mounts. I don't have one, but I've only heard bad things about TS trailers. Maybe they have more than one supplier though.

    What would you do?

It doesn't sound like there is an immediate need to change tractors. I'd probably keep the one you have. Rent a larger one or a miniexcavator if needed. That will help you understand the tradeoffs.

Good Works Tractor Co. and their latest Quick Hitch

I'd also like to see another brand that has the same gap. I didn't look that hard, but I didn't find one with a quick search.

    Broke pin BH-77

Other than a porta power or similar, strong bolt(s) and thick steel to compress it.

    Best clevis pin retaining method?

I don't know which are better, but I suggest carrying extras and check anything that uses them regularly. Also, think about how to get by or reconnect if you lose one. Yep, it's happened to me.

Stuck steel hydraulic line. HELP REQUESTED

I wonder if it was reverse thread. I've found a small sledge like 2 or dead-blow is helpful to get bolts loosened.

Dropped stick in L3800D Hydraulic Fill

I would try to snare it with wire. I agree I'd try really hard to get it out.

If that's a production model, that seems like a bad design.

How many customers does the treadle pedal cost Kubota?

I'm sure there are a few people who don't like the pedal at the start. The best explanation I heard was that you will get used to whatever pedals you have. That's been my experience. There are people who say it's different than a car, but two pedals for front/reverse is different as well...
