I'm just wondering who else hasn't put their chains on yet. My power company has kept my grader/scraper on for extra time since they are changing out the underground power lines.

I'm hoping I can fix their mess pretty soon.

I haven't, but then again I don't use chains. :giggle: I have the MX set up for winter work with the snow blower on the back all greased and ready to go, and the hydraulic angle snow blade up front. I picked up an oil filter and transmission filter from the local Kubota dealer and will do the 200 hour service on the MX once the oil gets here (Schaeffer's 9000 SynShield® OTR Plus Full Synthetic 5W-40 from Amazon).

If it works out I might have an hydraulic rear blade for the M6060 to use this winter on the lower driveway, but right now I'm not overly optimistic that I'll get it. It would be nice to be able to push snow over the edge of the driveway where it builds up, without rolling the tractor over the edge. My front blade when angled isn't quite wide enough to get the snow to push over and down the hill, and I'm risk averse when it comes to getting right up to the edge since there are some spots that are more than a little sketchy.

Drained cooling system and replaced with new coolant. Greased machine. Changed out summer air in tires to winter air. Quick nut and bolt. Don't own chains.

I really missed the boat for winter change over. My tractor is still in the barn with rotary cutter attached and my blade is outside buried in snow. I’m away at warmer climates till next week. Ugg. I’ll have to dig the blade out of snow and do the change over when I return.

I'm still blowing leaves here in eastern ND with the PTO blower. Snowblower is still parked waiting for winter. the add on tractor cab is still up on the mezzanine. Woe is me!! Hoping for another month of warm weather heare to finish up summer's outside work. But most likely will have to make the switchover in the next week or two. Fingers crossed til then!!
