Anyone try these (BX tractor upgrade)?

I may not have measured correctly. My measurement was @ fully extended (end of bore cap) to center of pin. I would gladly speak to Dan on the phone for a more clear understanding of specifics!

Anyone try these (BX tractor upgrade)?

With me, I'm not one to be a beta tester. The lure with the HP cylinders, are they've been R&D'd and they're a bolt-in upgrade. Yes, they are convenient. Yes, they work as advertised. Yes, the "cylinders" have a warranty. Beyond that, no other warranty or guarantee applies to the install or...

Anyone try these (BX tractor upgrade)?

I had the same thoughts, once I heard these cylinders were coming available. Others thought the same. I spent a lot of time scouring the FB groups for the HP "specs", and nothing was ever mentioned. The asking price of the HP cylinders is STEEP, IMO, but when there are no other comparable...

    1" Coil Rod

I used three of the coil rods to support two sections of 6x12 temporary fence panels. I cut one end of each, to have somewhat of a spire point, then drove them down through about 8" of 3" (crushed) quarry rock. Then I stainless zip-tied the panels to them. Very useful. Solid

FWIW, the guy at HydrosPlus had them built to his specs per tractor.

How do I NOT Break This??

I used my spanner wrench (adjustable) to wrench on motorcycle shocks. It's come in handy on many applications.

If you don't use Facebook, you can't see the group posts, unless you join the group. FWIW, website forums are not the only source of information for "any" tractors. BX23S & BX Tractors

How do I NOT Break This??

To add to the other suggestions... There are many ways to accomplish the task at hand. All tasks for that matter. How about using two 1/4" thick pieces of mild steel flatbar, (square shank steel punches would work aswell) that fits the inside indentations of the collar, then place the jaws of...

Anyone try these (BX tractor upgrade)?

There are several BX owners within the Facebook groups, who've had the HydrosPlus cylinders in use since release, and there have been more and more people doing the same, without issues. They do as advertised. Several members within the groups have put the cylinders and their machines to the...

    1" Coil Rod

This stuff I found one day at the scrap yard. At first, I thought it was rebar. One of the workers there mentioned it was threaded. That's when I grabbed all 19 of the 6ft sticks. It's a new discovery for me aswell!

Overheating and now stalling - I don’t feel good about this.

A concern I'd have using any "cleaner"...is it safe? Personally, if my radiator was at the point of needing chemicals to clean it, I'd remove it to do so.

This is my assumption as well. Fine particals get packed in and compress, forming to the fins, slowly choking the air flow. I always use my leaf blower from a distance, and from both sides of the radiator. Seems to do the trick.

    1" Coil Rod

I've seen several of them made from a more standard threaded rod. The stuff I have seems like it would be aggressive and better suited.
