    1" Coil Rod

I ordered some nuts for these rods. I'm gonna build some adjustable stands I can put on the shop floor, for use under lengths of steel...for leveling and whatnot. I'm also thinking about making some type of Vise system, or bar-clamp. What might you use the Coil Rod for, tractor related?

    Quick Hitch advice please

My venture into the QH began when I had a JD X739, which was Cat1-Limited/Cat1 compatable. There were two quick hitch types, solid top hook and adjustable. The adjustable model was ridiculously priced and not found on the used market at the time, but the solid hook model was all over out there...

    Quick Hitch advice please

That's the case with my QH, all my attachments have the bushings. 🤔 I could (should) modify that.

    Quick Hitch advice please

The adjustable hook, couldn't that be modified to accept "pins" to make the adjustment quick and easy? My QH is an older John Deere solid hook.

    Mower deck not projecting

Have you checked the deck for built-up grass? Over-greasing? Is there possibly grease coming out around the spindles on the underside, caking dirt and debris, changing the flow?

Recommendations for a quick attach pallet fork for a BX

I have Redline Systems, 36" set. Keep in mind, the more the fork-set weighs, the less the machine can lift. My 600+ Lb ballast.

    Backhoe Swing Lock Pin

I tend to agree. Then again, I've noticed that seems to be the norm from most. I've often replied, then deleted my response afterwards.

    Backhoe Swing Lock Pin

No matter when the topic was started, it's all relevant...minus the dated remarks

Sigh, I need to tap one of my lug holes. Any advice?

I have a tendency to speak in riddle, assuming one would catch on. Not always the case, as I come over as being a JERK. Bad habit of mine. In a time of need, I might weld a thick hardened washer over the ovulation. Your suggestion is the ideal approach.

    Backhoe Swing Lock Pin

My reaction was more in reflection to the simplicity of an issue, not necessarily calling you out.

    1" Coil Rod

I picked up 19/6ft lengths of 1" Coil Rod from the recycling yard. HANDY stuff. Here's an example of eBay vs Amazon prices. Crazy.

    Or a 1" diameter bolt?

    Backhoe Swing Lock Pin

We're talking about a 1" piece of cold rolled rod, for cripes sake. :ROFLMAO:

    BX drawbar (?)

I built a hitch receiver for mine. Emptied my wallet. $5

Sigh, I need to tap one of my lug holes. Any advice?

Ouchie. I might maybe grab a cordless sawzall or cutting torch, after propping that to stay upright. Then a BFH for persuasion. The ovals I would probably reenforce by welding and filling back in.

    Snow chains…do I need them?

BX23S specifically, I don't foresee the need of chains while having the back-blade as counter-weight. If necessary, you can lower the rear tire pressure to increase traction.

Sigh, I need to tap one of my lug holes. Any advice?

I'd attempt to clean out the threads from the back-side if doable. Then if the lug bolt still wouldn't thread from the front, perhaps a lug bolt could be threaded from the rear, for use of a lugnut on the face. A helicoil as a last resort.

    Matching Kubota orange paint.

My BX23S was purchased last year. Figuratively, anything which touches the ground (or fabricated) gets sprayed with Rustoleum Farm & Implement spray paint. All other gets factory.

    Furniture dollies?

Nothing I've found in all my years of sweeping, compares to horse hair. Once tried, the DUST they pick-up AFTER you think you've already done a good job sweeping, WILL amaze you.
