B2601 60 inch mower deck keeps dropping

do the three point lift arms have anything to do with the mower deck? If it does, maybe try closing the drop rate control knob a bit. It should be located under the seat area. If I'm not mistaken, your tractor model uses a suspension mounted deck (like Bx's). My BX did that if the knob was too...

    Fuel fungicide treatment

timely thread. I've used BIO-KLEEN for the last two years without issue. However, I noticed that the bottle I have actually froze over the winter in my garage. Now it looks like there was phase separation after it thawed. There is a very heavy wax like substance in the bottom of the bottle...

    Rock removal implement for B2601

I Hear ya. Nothing is cheap anymore. I've had mine for maybe 2 years, it ran about $1,500 with the gauge wheels from EA. I do think that you may expect to find some in the $800-$1,000 range for a new 6 footer from farm stores. The gauge wheels will add another $350-$400 if you wanted them. My...

    Rock removal implement for B2601

Why wouldn't you simply use a landscape rake? That's what they do. You could likely just rent one if you didn't want to buy it. They are pretty common sale items in craigslist and fb marketplace.

    Converting to Quick hitch

Mine came with the speeco e-hitch but somehow I ended up with two of them. Since my hitch came from EA, maybe that's why they went bankrupt? The style that WFM posted above is pretty common. Amazon or tractor supply will have them in stock.

    Crazy high speed crash

Yep. Saw it on wfmz earlier this week as well. Not surprising with all of the idiots on the road here in the valley. It's become downright dangerous to drive around here.

    Expecting a problem next door....

Yote - I think you're on the right track regarding the "sewage disposal". Regarding the dogs, if your username implies something different to what I would imagine, perhaps you could borrow one of (North Idaho Wolfman) NIW's "pets" to resolve the issue? ;)

Another question about New BX23S .. Broken bolt on Backhoe

I'd give candle wax (paraffin) a try. Heat the snot out of the area then set a candle (or bar of paraffin) on the pin. Let the wax melt and be drawn into the joint. Hope it works for you.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

welp, did my last job for the plumbing company today. The company was sold and my wife (GM) will not be working for the new owner...so neither will I. I had a good time doing the work, very enjoyable digging for me. So, I suppose I'll need to branch out more for the mini to earn its keep.

    Truck / trailer questions

I've used the tekonsha before as well. But, I can tell you that the integrated controllers in newer trucks rock. Most have options for setting each trailer up with different braking gain levels. I'd much prefer the factory option as it usually comes with the towing package (HD brakes...

    Truck / trailer questions

I think that just about all 1/2 ton pickups these days (can't speak for the foreign made variants) do a reasonable job in towing duties. They all have much more powerful engines, better transmissions and effective braking to manage trailers. Those that offer trailer tow/haul modes do a pretty...
