    F150 Questions

Thanks guys. I suppose I'll need to sign up on one of those forums. I believe that Ford upped the power for the 5.0 for 2018 to 395hp/400 lb-ft by adding direct injection to the current port injection with a few other tweaks. So, the 5 liter still has more hp than the 3.5, but much less torque...

    security

A secondary cutoff switch would be a good start and lower all implements to the ground. The next best thing is to carry KTAC insurance or really good homeowners (make sure it covers theft).

    F150 Questions

I have the life insurance thing covered...besides, technically it's HER truck since she didn't want me to know anything about it. :D The trans is smooth (10 speed) but I find that it gets a bit confused when under light accel/decel conditions. Hopefully it's still just learning. I did load...

    F150 Questions

Last week, my wife had a new truck (2018 F150 lariat 5.0 supercrew) delivered to me for my b-day. It came as quite a surprise as I had nothing to do with it. I've never owned a Ford (ever) as I've always been a mopar fan. The new truck seems like a really nice ride (have to get used to the...

BH-92 backhoe stabilizer wont stay up

I'd have to agree with quazz. 10 hours would seem excessive to me. Mine will take a few weeks. For extended periods/storage, I use a simple ratchet strap between the two stabilizers. I also close the 3pt valve as well (not sure if that helps or not).

    trailer tires

Just placed an order for (5) Carlisle Radial Trail HD's for my trailer. Lowest price was $53 free shipping on amazon. We'll see if it was a good buy. I'm still on the original tires (12 years), but they now have severely cracked sidewalls and can't be trusted.

    modified Amazon BH77 Thumb

Looks great. Maybe add an adjustable support tube so you can fold the thumb flat against the dipper to get it out of your way when digging. That should be an easy job with your fab skills.

    BX25D Trailer Advice

I'd go with 14' dual axle (with brakes) for sure. Not sure what you pull with, but some extra length will ensure that you can get the correct tongue weight. If you were to go shorter, you can also turn the hoe a bit sideways if needed. I have a 16' 7K that I used for my BX23 when I had a...

    HELP! B3350SU Start up problem

That's an awful picture. Did you purchase it from Barlow's? From what I've heard, no one beats their deals.

I stripped the threads on a drain plug

Can you look up the bolts on a parts diagram? Many times the provide the size in the description. Or take the bolt to a hardware store to verify the correct size and get a tap.

Trailers for tractor and implement hauling

I'd say at least 18', preferably 20'. Rotary cutters hang out a long way.

    HELP! B3350SU Start up problem

Man, sorry to hear about your issue (never heard of the over rev before). I had also initially inquired about the B3350 when I was looking for a new machine. I had three dealers tell me (to my face) that they wouldn't sell me one (they all had them sitting there on their lots). I'm not trying...

Kubota L3901 HST Low Preasure for Auxilary Hydraulics

I didn't think that you could effectively run those off the front. The attachments you listed require high-flow (as in skid steer) i thought.

New to forum and question on B2650

I can't imagine you ever run out of grunt pulling a 5 ft finish mower behind the B2650. Depending on the severity of the hill, the only limitation would be traction. Have you looked at the smaller B series? They have a bit smaller foot print and lower center of gravity?

can't imagine it being anything other than a faulty safety switch or the ignition switch itself.
