Back blade into a box blade without the teeth

not sure what you are trying to do...but, if it's just grading/leveling and you're trying not to dig in, use the back side of the rear blade. It works great for smoothing out stone (works well on snow too).

what is the minimum sized trailer for a L2501 TLB

you're going to need at least an 18 footer if you don't want to swing the hoe sideways. I have to swing the hoe sideways as well on a 16 footer with the B2650.

KeithG- i totally agree with you on the integrated brake controller. I had a tekonsha unit on my old truck. It worked well but had to be constantly adjusted. I'm curious about the tow/haul mode. I tried it two weeks ago and the trans didn't get beyond 7th gear (which I think is the first...

    Looking at a BX2660

I had a set of bro-tek's on my old bx23. They work great. However, the rear plate/access does make it a bit difficult to connect the mid pto for the mower. You'll have to find a way to get your hand around the side of the skid plate to pull the collar on the pro shaft. It can be a bit...

    Box Scraper for B6100

I'll second that. These are well built units. They'll pain them orange for you to for just a few dollars more. https://www.everythingattachments.com/Box-Blade-Box-Scraper-For-Compact-Tractors-p/eta-xd-cbb.htm

Will these forks fit my B2601?

should work fine, just not that you won't be able to adjust the width of the forks with that setup. I got a set of their 42" forks that can be adjusted. The QA also has a 2" receiver built in...that's quite handy.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Pulled the hoe off today and replaced with box blade to regrade/expand the driveway. It's going to take some time to get the hang of this tractor and box blade. I think I could've done the work in half the time with my old BX23 and the rear blade.

    Anyone sell their tractor services?

used to have a part time landscaping business (we worked weekends) and did a lot of "smaller" 1-2 day jobs that many other commercial businesses would pass on. It was just my wife and I, but sometimes i got additional help when doing large tree planting jobs. We made a killing. Did lots of...

    F150 Questions

I agree with ya junkie. Way too much techy gadget stuff. It's really overwhelming. I think they build all this crap into vehicles to help keep people from wrecking while texting or watching videos while driving. Unfortunately, it's rather difficult finding a new(er) vehicle without all the gadgets.

    Opinions on my BX build

Not sure where you're located other than "northeast". If you don't get inundated with snow, I'll be the one that recommends ditching the blower and just getting a decent rear blade. They work well on moderate snows and will be mighty useful in doing your other grading tasks. Perhaps you'll need...

    F150 Questions

No, I can access the oil filter just fine from underneath as it's right on the front of the block. But I'm sure it will drain its contents onto the skid plates. Regarding serviceability...vehicles have been that way for a long time. Working on them is simply replacing parts (mostly). I used to...

mcfarmall- That's what I've heard all along about the 3.5 ecoboost. It's either "eco" or "boost" and you have to pick only one. I'd like to see for myself sometime and drive one. I do, however, like me the sound of a V8! I have a stingray boat with a 4.3 V6 with thru hull exhaust (i bought it...

Prof- good points. It's currently registered as class 2. I have the towing package but won't be pulling anywhere near the max rating, so I'm not worried about it. I think the tow rating is 9100 for this truck. I do like the hitch assist camera. It's an awesome improvement over my old tow...

    F150 Questions

I've heard of that happening. Somewhere I saw that the black piece of trim on the roof had lifted at the rear of the cab. Looked like a rivet or screw pulled thru the seam. Evidently they use a "flexible" seam filler there? Would that be because of the aluminum body?

Thanks for the reply's guys. Like I said, I never owned a ford before so I really don't know what to expect. Honestly, I can't get over the room inside this thing.
