Parasitic battery drain on my new BX2380

It kind of sounds to me like the relay is energized all the time. 144ma might be right for hold in current. Doesn't sound like its wired correctly. I just finished wiring in work lights on my tractor. The relay coil is switched by the manual switch I installed and is fed from the original leads...

    Another Tractor Project

That looks like a great project for you PH. I've always been of the mindset that any project, no matter how big, can be broken down into small pieces and completed that way. I'm not sure I could do what you've done so far :) I wouldn't have a clue where to find parts for a machine like that -...

    3 point .. tightening tension?

I have been following this thread with interest. Although I have owned tractors since the early 90's I still consider myself a newbie. Intuitively I'm with Leveraddict. It just seems to me that if there is slack then there is the opportunity to build up some inertia by the implement that has to...

Photo shoot anything lately? Random Photo Thread

It's a Canon 1Dx, an oldie but goodie. It was tripod mounted with onboard flash, 200mm f2.8 lens at f10, 1/200 sec exp at iso 400. It was remotely triggered from the house.

    Should I buy an L3800 or L2501?

I picked up an L3800HST a few months ago. My previous tractor was an L3400HST. This one had 264 hours on it. I thought it was a good deal and didn't hesitate (plus the seller's friend delivered it to my house). I've been really happy with it.

Ok how many people does it take to change a headlight in a L3800

I picked up the pair on ebay: see below They sure look brighter than the original bulbs and the added benefit of drawing < 1/3 the power (7w vs 25w). I don't know if it was because my bulbs were old or what but they had a puny yellow cast. These are bright white.

    Medical advice, not political

Just stating opinions. . . just like this article in the Lancet: https://www.thelancet.com/journals/lanres/article/PIIS2213-2600(20)30555-5/fulltext Science doesn't care what you believe

    gasoline in diesel engine....

Hey Triode, many years ago I found a used Mecedes 230 (?) in really nice shape for my wife. She was pregnant with our 1st and late one night was coming back from her mom's & pulled into a truck stop for gas. The attendant (remember them) filled her up and she made it about 2 miles before it...

    No one ever warned me!

When we built our home 30 years ago I had my toolbox stolen from the site. Since then I've replaced many of the 'usual' tools. It wasn't until I started working on the tractor that I realized how many more tools I needed! Of course I had to have the Dewalt cordless grease gun. Oh, I needed a...

    40 ft Span Bridge

Years ago we had a small amateur radio group that wanted to put up a repeater and 160' tower. We didn't have a lot of money and the property owner who was going to let us put up the tower in his yard had construction equipment kept there. In order to keep from having a real sad story if one of...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

This has been a busy few days for me with the tractor. I changed all the filters and only spilled 2 gallons of SUDT2 on the garage floor. I finished cleanup wiring of my new front light bar, rear work lights and cameras / monitor. I even replaced my cracked SMV placard. I also replaced a...

Ok how many people does it take to change a headlight in a L3800

And the lesson I took away from changing one headlight assembly and replacing both bulbs with LEDS? I'm never going to do it again. In the end I ground off the nubs on the connectors. I'll take a chance they never come apart. Working at those bizzare angle also convinced me if I'm forced to do...
