    Kubota decal kits.

The L3800 I bought used had some scratched paint issues as well as peeling decals on the loader arms. As close as the 'Kubota matched' paint I bought was, you could see where I masked off the decals and painted above. Easy solution. Remove the decals, paint the arms and get new decals on Ebay...

Ok how many people does it take to change a headlight in a L3800

Exactly correct! BigG you get the prize! The white half of the connector has a nub sticking up in the middle of one long side. The black half has a corresponding slot in its side. When you push them together the nub is compressed until it reaches that slot. It then extends up forming a catch. It...

Ok how many people does it take to change a headlight in a L3800

I must need the magic word because I know I sure don't have it. The tractor came with a cracked lens on the left headlight. I want to change the bulbs to LEDs so eventually they both have to come out. I watched a video on youtube that made it look possible, not easy but possible. The 1st thing...

What Is Correct Procedure / Bucket Position When Parked In Garage

lol, what can I say? I'm passionate about my obsessions - tractors, mc riding, computers, photography, ham radio. . . so many hobbies, so little time Always took AT LEAST one really long ride per year. Been in every state in North America

What Is Correct Procedure / Bucket Position When Parked In Garage

I guess we all have our reasons to own a tractor. Far be it for me to pass judgement. Mine sits in a heated garage next to my STI. Sorry, I haven't waxed it tho. In the summer I have to admit I enjoy washing it and getting grease all over clothes I should have changed from. I guess mine would...

    "Daily" maintenance

I think the previous posters have pretty much hit all the 'normal' stuff. I have to admit I don't check engine oil level every time, probably once a week. Looking under the tractor for any wet spots (its garaged on a concrete floor so that is real easy), if it gets muddy I wash it off - even in...

Hydraulic filter / HST filter - the same?

Thanks for the replies. Sorry I do have HST. I did order in a 'kit' and it included the inner filter. My manual tho doesn't say anything about an inner filter. It does look like it will slide inside the larger one. I didn't put it in because it wasn't mentioned in the manual. Thank you very...

Hydraulic filter / HST filter - the same?

I am going over the new to me L3800 I recently acquired. Even tho it only had 264 hrs on the clock and the oil filter has 262 written on it I am in the process of doing a complete filter / fluid replacement. The manual refers to these two filters but I can tell if they are the same model filter...

    Went Tankless

Being in the distribution (wholesale) end of the business I think the OP has the right product for his application. Sure there are plenty of negatives for using an instantaneous electric heater (limited recovery, cost of fuel) but for a cabin application it sounds perfect. Its the least...

    Best cold weather bib overalls?

Thanks for everyone's replies. It has me narrowing my focus now. Frozenorange - Btw abt 10 years ago I took a solo mc ride from CT to AK. I rode through North Pole on my way to Fairbanks and then south to Denali. You live in a big and awesome state! On the way home, either in AK or the Yukon...

    Best cold weather bib overalls?

Well now that I've turned 74 and no longer really love the snow quite as much as I used to, ... winter is coming. I used to wear an old snow ski suit but found it to be too bulky on the tractor. Time to splurge what have open station operators found to be good solutions? Carhartt ? Something...

    Fuse block question L3800

Thank you! Yes I just found the working light connector. It was taped to the wires :) That changes everything for me. I will use that to feed my switch and then the 2 LED lights. The other accessory fuses I'll use later when I install my additional valves. Thanks again!

    Fuse block question L3800

I am waiting for the service manual but. . . I am planning my 'rear' wiring behind the seat. My plan is to run a 20 amp fused line to a 6 position fuse block. That will feed my 10 amps worth of rear lighting as well as the future electric / hydraulic valves. I'm looking for a source for my 12...

Call before you dig! Every time you dig!

I have exactly the same story :( We had to remove an underground oil tank at the house. My contractor called 'call before you dig' here in CT. They promptly came out and marked the underground power and phone lines leading to the house. Only off by 8-10 feet. The hoe operator managed to catch...
