I looked inside the hollow of the knob. Are those some teeth in there??? I tried lightly tapping it on the throttle handle using a hammer. It may have bitten in much better. Is that the correct thing to do?

It just slides off and on. Will gluing it on cause a problem later if certain repairs are needed? That thing fell off again this morning. Eventually I'm going to loose it. Got a better fix? I drove an L2502 yesterday and saw that the throttle handle knob has a threaded insert and jam nut.
