I never thought twice about the pedal. I didn't hesitate buying my BX2380 years ago ... nor my recently purchased L3902.

I mowed for about 1 1/2 hours tonight. That thing mows like a dream! Can hardly wait to get started again tomorrow. :D

Once I got the bungee cord on it was just a matter of aligning the splines. I cheated and lubricated the neck out of things a couple nights earlier. Yep, figuring out where to stand was key. I'm sure things will get faster for a while.

Good idea! I posted pictures of the tractor last week but I do need to post some before and after pictures of my field behind the house. Going to rain in a little while so maybe this weekend. Won't be anything interesting but will mean something to me.

Thanks all! I kept thinking the chain might just pull the tree over and slip off but it sounds like it will work. I've never seen a ring to slip over the chain like that before. Great idea!

How would you hook a chain or rope to the base of a very young cedar so you can pop it out of the ground with a tractor?

If something happened to my BX2380 I'd replace it in a heartbeat with a current equivalent. I just added an L3902HST about 11 days ago and don't have much seat time yet. I think I'd replace it with another L02 at this point. It should do all of the bigger stuff I need to do just fine.

I use Duke dog proof traps full of cheap, dry cat food. I sprinkle a couple of drops of coon attractant on the tops of some tall grass or brush nearby. Don't know if that really helps. I place a trap or two at my end of the concrete culvert that runs under the road to my neighbor's property...

Sorry. The reason I asked is because my QH05 has been a bit of a pain but my QH16 works like a dream. Not certain why the difference.

So you're saying my Kubota tractor is intentionally designed to NOT pull a trailer loaded with hay out of the hay field?!?!?!

On an L3902 shouldn't the large drawbar hole handle the threaded stem of the larger sized trailer hitch ball? I thought it should drop right in. This one is just a bit too tight. I even tried tapping the ball a bit with a hammer thinking built up paint was preventing it from going in. No...

About 3 weeks ago I began asking questions about 3 models of Kubota tractors my salesman recommended. I knew nothing about any models other than the BX's so what better place for asking questions about Kubota tractors than a Kubota tractor forum, right? IMO I received LOTS of excellent advice...
