    Will the filter leak?

I can't put carbon on the main line. It's too much flow restriction, hmmm

    Will the filter leak?

Dumb question, if I take a water filter and put it right before the tap on the hot water side as well as the cold will the heat make the casing fail? It says on the casing it's rated to function at up to 38c but I assume it means the filter cartridge will come apart after this. My plan was to...

Can you overload a hydraulic pump?

All good and helpful replies so thanks :)

Can you overload a hydraulic pump?

Yea motor loads do produce heat I'm aware, it's on a spreader so theres cooling time between loads.

Can you overload a hydraulic pump?

This has manual flow regulators, for the 2 aux hydraulics. But it does have some stuff like that. The steering, the loader and the 3 point all have priority over the rear aux ports. So if you have a hydraulic motor running on the back and move your loader then the loader acts completely normal...

Can you overload a hydraulic pump?

Simple question that I'm pretty sure I know the awnser to but I wanted to check anyway. Say your tractors hydraulic pump puts out 20GPM, You are running multiple hydraulic motor that can easily pull over that if running at full speed. So as a result your pump is outputting it's max flow for...

More off topic plumbing questions haha.

Awesome well that's one worry gone, Yea a flow switch although if it left gaps in treatment that wouldn't be great.

PVC mistakes... anyone else do this?

I did get a new filter and do that, why they made a filter with glue on ends idk.... it's dumb.

PVC mistakes... anyone else do this?

I just replaced the filter as I though of a different use, even a propane torch couldn't get it apart unless I had just melted it.

Apparently they are a quartz dome for the UV filter, rainfresh brand. I have a spare full sized water heater if it ends up being too small, wr setup a shower in our barn that never was used so it's literally just sitting there brand new water heat that's off.

More off topic plumbing questions haha.

Not really anything too crazy but I installed a UV system and when theres no water flowing for a while the casing of the unit will get pretty warm/hot. Is there risk of cracking the glass sleeve from the sudden temp drop of cold water? I know my aunt has the same setup but the use water all the...

PVC mistakes... anyone else do this?

It's glue in threaded ends, really dumb but works, it's a sediment filter so you just screw the bottom off to clean. I have seen them glued direct to pipe as well, they work good but it seems dumb

PVC mistakes... anyone else do this?

Ouch I remembered i needed one of these for a different lower psi project so I swapped it. Also some of the primer cans are nearly impossible to open so maybe it popped open and spilled on your pile of pipe?

PVC mistakes... anyone else do this?

Brittle maybe, I tried heat and a pipe wrench to try and get it apart to put in the correct stuff so definitely not weak.

Yea they don't last long at all, Idk what it was but it bonded.

PVC mistakes... anyone else do this?

Ohh no it's 65 psi of water, nothing crazy. I don't think it can fail it is really solid but only has the solvent cleaner. I would cut it out but I can't the only way is to just buy another filter, as it's glue in fittings right to the filter

PVC mistakes... anyone else do this?

So I hardly ever use anything that requires gluing pvc so never really have any glue around. I got a little filter that is pvc and you have to glue in the ends which is not a big deal. I grabbed a bottle of what I thought was the cement and proceeded on. Ended up with this clear fast evaporating...

    Change hydraulic mode?

I have an m5n-091, it is currently set so the hydraulic valves stay open and kick out near full pressure. Is there a way to change the setting so the valve doesn't kick out? I know deeres have that option but not sure about kubota.

    Future purchasing curiosities?

Fendt sounds awesome and expensive, we had them heavily ballast my new m5n-091 narrow tractor and it worked really well. wheel weights, loaded tires as full as they can be safely and it really works good. light in mass is ok but being built too light to handle the job is a different story.
