Had my electric heater go out in January. What a fun job to do in sub zero temps! :D Got it done though. Need to invest in a water softener though since water has a lot of iron in it. I would have just replaced the element, but the insulation around it was wet, so it had a small leak somewhere...

That what my dealer by me quoted me! I'm debating between an L3800 and an L3200.

my 7610 is 24 hp which seems to be plenty of power, but I want the lifting capabilities that the L series can do. I stopped by the local dealer and he was saying the L3800 is only about $1800 more than the L3200. Also said that the 6hp between mine and the L3200 wouldn't be too noticeable. I was...

I've got a B7610 that is 24 hp. I use a 60 inch 3 pt finish mower. It does everything I've asked of it. No issues, runs like a champ. I am considering moving up to either a L3200 or L3800. I need a little more weight for some tasks I have. When I bought my B, I was looking at a BX series too...

I think you will be alright. I have a b7610 with FEL and 60 in. finish mower. I think you would be at about 15 ft. or less without going out and measuring. I don't have the mower hooked up right now anyway. :rolleyes:

I'm thinking maybe your diff lock just hasn't been used very much and could be sticking a little. I'd just keep working the lever back and forth and hopefully it will work it's self out. As far as the brakes, I have no clue on that one other than replace them.

I was thinking that too. I understand a little smoke for maybe 5 seconds, but not for a whole minute. I'm thinking injection pump timing off.

I'm not sure which dealer you would have dealt with from Hastings? I bought my Kubota from the store in Mattawan, MI. I've always had good luck with them. They are always polite and professional every time I stop in. Hope you can find another dealer to help you with your tractoring needs. :cool:

Cleaned up another 8 inches of snow. I'm ready for spring! ;)

I'm using Rotella T-6 synthetic oil in the Kubota. The startups are great! It turns over really well even though the temps have been anywhere between high teens to single digit highs. I use mobil-1 5w-30 synthetic in my car and I change it every 5k miles. I use a purolator filter.

This is what I use too. Would use Kubota oil for the hydraulics.

It's about 16 degrees here and falling. High is supposed to be about 3-5 degrees and wind chills well below zero. Got about 15 inches of snow since last night and now another 4-8 inches of more snow thanks to lake effect. :D Plenty to keep the kubota busy the next couple days. ;)

I'm not sure if that has a heater core? Could it be plugged? Also, does the temp switch slide back and forth properly? Meaning it isn't disconnected or anything like that.

When you put fresh fuel in it, add some diesel treatment to it like sea foam or something similar. Will help prevent algae and remove any water in the fuel if it has any in it.

Looks good! Takes up a lot less space than it's usual sitting position. Great job!

Took the finish mower off and put the loader back on. Cleaned up the driveway after the snow we got.

I've used it in my fuel for my B7610 and haven't noticed any ill effects of it. I figure it helps keep water out of the fuel and cleans the injectors. Also, adds lubricity which will help out the injector pump. Starts up great every time.
