I signed up here for advice that was spot on and thought I'd relay my first hand experience. I just towed home a B20 Backhoe. I was very nervous about this being first time. I have a Big Tex 60CH trailer and a Dodge 1500 Ram. The machine was 150 miles away. This set up worked very well, absolutely no issues what-so-ever. My brake system is typical, I ran the 2nd position on the controller adjusted to 6. Normal braking I couldnt feel a difference in braking. I actually hit close to 70 at one point running with the overdrive off and I was pulling 2700RPM's. Gas consumption won the race home, OMG... I think 60-65 all day would make my truck happy. Thanks everyone for the suggestions I received here, Regards Walt.....:)
ps: just sayin...

We have 7 acres in Southern Indiana that is going to be a family campground. It currently is untouched overgrown forest. I need to run 200' of waterline and a septic. I picked up this B20 with 980hr's. Looks to be in really good shape and it runs like one would hope..Right now its 200 miles from where its going come early spring. Will add a post hole digger to this soon..Walt
