Fiddle farting around on the farm.

I'm hoping we get some of the rain bands up in central and northern VA. Been dry dry dry here too.

    Leaf Time

our 5 acres is mostly old pasture so not a lot of trees. The few that drop leaves are around the house. I typically blow them up into a long low pile in the gravel driveway and burn em. The ones around the house I throw mulching blades and a chute blocker on the zero turn and hit em a handful...

Loader bucket for extra ballast, hauling wood etc.

You need to take your time, and learn your machine very very well. You absolutely will need ballast on the back of the tractor when using the grapple if you're going to pick up anything more than what you could carry by hand. It does not take much to get tippy, especially if operating on ever...

    Need Advice on Attachments, Etc.

As a fleet supervisor in charge of buying vehicles and equipment for a large water utility, I can say that equipment salesmen are typically the most honest and knowledgeable I've dealt with. They can't bs 97% of their customers because they are typically just as informed on the material as the...

Looking for advices for installing cedar posts

For the intended use of the posts, digging the hole and backfilling will work great, no need to over complicate it. A little bit of gravel at the bottom and around the post to help with drainage then fill and tamp. While slower, using the round back portion of digging bar will give you...

Looking for advices for installing cedar posts

What will these cedar posts be holding up? Sono tubes would be great if you wanted to fill with gravel and concrete and take the time to level them all to each other and then you can set anchors for your posts and start building on a level foundation. If you're setting the posts in the ground...

Does your tach work? Like stated, check the cable and cable drive.

Kubota BX 25 Bucket hooks, are these any good ? which style?

Would something like a Buyers #PM812 in combination with a #10036 or similar work? We use the adjustable pintle mounts on our trucks at work so we can get the hitch dialed in and keep the trailer tongues at a "standard" height. Whereabouts in VA are you?

    Quick Hitch? 👍 or 👎

I also have a harbor freight model on my B. Love it, I buy used implements and it's not much work at all to get them set up to work with it. After I added my hydraulic top link it's a painless operation to swap implements without getting off the tractor unless I need to hook up a PTO shaft.

LX3310 What is the large threaded opening at top of engine for?

Yes, and also because Kubota sells their engines to a variety of different people for powering other equipment it gives multiple ways to fill. Like others said, I'd be making a phone call to the selling dealer and having them change my oil, make a note in the equipment record and clean up my...

B2650 0 rpm on lcd display

Did you push the selection button next to the screen? It will cycle through engine rpm, rear pto rpm and mid pto rpm. If it's on the rear or mid it only shows rpm when the PTO is engaged. However I think it defaults back to engine RPM with a cycle of the key.

B2650 doesn’t die when turn key off

Good information. When the guys at work tell me "well it's new, it should of fixed it," I always remind them that the new stands for Never Ever Worked. Always perform diagnostics and verify repair. Also like RWS said, focus on one thing at a time, I'd start with the run on problem.

6 foot Rear Finish Mower for B2650?

I ran a land pride 72" RFM behind my B2650 for about a year and half when we bought our 5 acres. I got it super cheap because the PO was missing a link of chain for the tensioner and couldn't get the belt routed right so it would cut right. Our land is mostly grass, rolling hills, old...

    Quick Hitch advice please

That exactly, why spend the money for almost a quick hitch system. Even before I added a hydraulic top link hooking up to various manufactures and age of equipment was pretty straightforward. Now with the top link being just a lever to adjust, picking things is stupid easy. I think also...

    Quick Hitch advice please

I've never had an issue hooking up a drive line with my Harbor Freight Cat 1 quick hitch, even my chipper which has a ridiculously short shaft, but to each their own. SInce I added a hydraulic top link swapping 3 point items is super fast, chipper to land plane to tiller and back to chipper...
