What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I thought about going that route but decided to forgo the hassle and just do the LED pods on the ROPS. In most cases where I found myself needing my headlights, the FEL position was just right to block them from being effective. I should have got a picture while I was tending the spoils fire I...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Didn't get any action shots of the tractor but it was used to move all the logs and then fill the wood shed with split wood from a huge pile my brother and I processed last year.

    3rd function install Question.

All good! I googled the part number to see if I could pull up the PDF and that video appeared. Was like well ain't that convenient! I struggled (still do) to fully wrap my head around hydraulics. A machine screw missing is annoying but not the end of the world, I'm sure we all have something...

    3rd function install Question.

Step 3 in the video explains where everything goes. https://summit-hydraulics.com/tfk8-interactive-video/ You're completely removing a short "jumper"-style line from the Power Beyond port of the loader control valve that goes back to the tank port. Your new lines go from the Power Beyond port...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

The boy is with his grandparents all week and took two days off work to get stuff done around the house. I helped the wife get all the Christmas decor out and set up Saturday as my tax to be outside the next three days. I spent Sunday-Tuesday stacking logs into a neater area with the tractor...

    Ok which fuel conditioner ?

When I had my Duramax I would run Stanadyne in it every fill up. It was an 03 and the ULSD mandated after 07 was so low in lubricity it was more to help the CP3 and injectors, I had that truck until 2020. I'd also keep a bottle of the winter additive from Power Service in the truck as just in...

    Fireplace insert

Allegedly during the Covid the local place stopped with walk-in sales and service. They had a showroom, would do bottle exchanges and fill,s etc. Now you can't get ahold of anyone, the local line loops you to a call center in India, and if you mention their name on the local FB pages the...

    Fireplace insert

My dad uses Ferrell, and I got referral pricing on that initial order. I checked via my account, and it was $3.48 to request a fill this week. Amerigas is on everyone's do-not-call list around my parts, they are flat out horrible. On line, they all say you need to either show you've had a...

    Fireplace insert

You're right about that!! When we moved in 4 winters ago it was under $3 a gallon. Earlier this summer Amerigas tired to lock us in for $3.99 a gallon for the winter. I dug out the paper work stating I own my tank and told them to kick rocks. Ferrell gas came and filled me up for $1.99 before...

    Fireplace insert

I'm installing an older Fisher insert, not a new flush mount or zero-clearance unit. Might not technically be as efficient, but the price is MUCH better and I'm only looking to supplement heat in the house on the really cold days. We have central air with a propane furnace, but that gets...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

If I could get my driveway looking like that with my landplane I would be ecstatic!! I drug the driveway last month and did a really bad job, I must have been in a hurry. I'm off for a few days next week, hopefully, it's not frozen solid and I can spend a little time on it and drag it a few...

    Fireplace insert

I spoke with our insurance agent yesterday and was given the green light. As long as a certified contractor does the install was the only caveat. I asked for clarification on the "certified" part and was told any contractor legal for work in my state would satisfy that role, they just needed a...

    Fireplace insert

Thanks, everyone! It will be a wood-burning insert inside a masonry fireplace. As others said, it was common practice to vent the insert via the chimney directly, but cleaning and operationally they work better with a liner. Also, insurance is going to want a liner, so it's going to get a...

    Fireplace insert

Hey everyone, I'm in the process of cleaning up a fireplace insert to install in our masonry fireplace as a supplement to the propane furnace. The previous owner had one in before we bought but removed it thinking the new owners wouldn't be interested in it. To keep things on the up and up...

    Share your lighting setup!

Here are some pics. I placed the switch on the outside of the storage tray on the right side. It felt fine ergonomically, and then I didn't have to run wires up the dash area. Picked these pods up a few years back when Holley was having an online clearance sale. They are Bright Earth brand 3"...

Just installed some pods on my ROPS on the B. Added a nutsert for the mount, ran the wiring down to the 12v work light wiring, and added a relay and illuminated switch.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Damn did you wax and ceramic coat that thing!! I need to wash mine, it lives in a dirt floor run-in barn so get's dusty when the wind ramps up. Does your seat have provisions for arm rests, if so I'd highly recommend them, my 2650 has em and they are fantastic for operating comfort.

    Advice for new tractor

Just for reference sake, we sent two 2007 410J's to auction in the spring, one had 7400 hours, the other over 8000, both went for over $16k at auction in the DC Metro Area.
