Harbor Freight Quick Hitch & Titan Heavy Duty Hitch

Not sure what you decided to do but I bought the top link you posted and it works great. As others have said, I couldn't get the hook to work so I moved on pretty quick. The only adjustemnet I do is to lengthen or shorten the top by screwing it in or out depending on the implement. I'm sure it...

    2016 Motorcycle cannonball Century race

Street screen. Port cape to the left and the mighty Mississippi River over wall to the right. Pics are taking to long to load, I'll post a few more tomorrow from work.

    2016 Motorcycle cannonball Century race

Just made it back from Cape, about a 110 mile ride. Got to see some really sweet bikes and from a conversation I over heard it's a real race. Anyway I'll post up a few pics.

    2016 Motorcycle cannonball Century race

I appreciate the link. I took a look at it earlier this morning on my laptop at work. They don't list the exact route, just that they're leaving Bloomington IN. On Wednesday headed to cape. There are many two lane roads they could take. None of which follow the line on the map. I assume that's...

    2016 Motorcycle cannonball Century race

Talked to few of my riding buddies yesterday and we are going ride along to Cape Girardeau MO. If we can figure out their route, I'm assuming they won't be traveling the interstate. I'm not on FB so I'm hoping one of the other guys can reach out to them via FB to find out their route. At the...

    2016 Motorcycle cannonball Century race

That's pretty cool. They're passing right thru my area in southern Illinois. I might have to take a ride on my bike to check it out.

    Tiller for smoothing out yard?

If I were in your shoes and my yard was bothering me, I would borrow the tiller, knock down the high spots then either back drag it with the FEL, if you have one, if not I would borrow or build a harrow to drag around until the low spots were filled in and the high spots were knocked down. Then...

Funny you say that because I just read my response and thought what the hell was I talking about. LOL Also, it was over two years ago. How have things progressed for you?

What About Your Tractor Makes You Swear?

I got into the habit of stepping on my brake every time I get on as well, after driving many times with it on of course. We were using the FEL to lift bundles of shingles onto my roof last year. My buddy was running my tractor. I could tell by the sound that the brake was still on. I had to yell...

    Congrats on the new tiller. It will end up saving you a whole lot of time in the long run. ***128077;

L3901 hst hooking to landpride rtr1258 tiller

If I'm following you correctly. You left part of the pto shaft on the tractor, hooked up the tiller to the 3pt, now are trying to connect the two pieces of Pto shafts together, is that right? If so, I'm not sure it's possible to do that. I don't think there would be enough room to connect them...

Clearing land for a garden and orchard

Probably so, plow and disk will work fine but a rototiller would be your best choice if you can afford one. I've plowed, then tilled before and it's a little rough going at first but ends up really nice. Most of the time now I just till.

Clearing land for a garden and orchard

I would and have plowed the debris under without clearing first. Its just going to break down into the soil anyway, I would think. Do you have a disk or tiller to break it up after you turn it over with the plow? I'm not sure a landscape rake will do the trick. Although, I've made due with...

    Knife making

Personally, Ive never attempted it but it sure looks like a good time. I watched Forged in Fire a program on the history channel I believe. It really peaked my interest in forging and knife making, I just don't have the time. Too many other irons in the fire, so too say. :)...

    G6 Gator blades

I've used gator blades on my last two mowers. Including the finish mower I use behind my L3800 and really like to job they do. To be honest, I never really thought about the lift they might provide but they really must provide some as both my front and rear tires roll over the grass before it...

    Caroni tillers-forward or reverse rotation?

My Caroni 67" turns forward and my L3800 handles it well. I got it from my brother in law and it hadn't been maintained at all until I got it. I cleaned all the debris from the tines, changed the oil in the gear box and adjusted the chain a little and it has ran like a top ever since. I'm not...
