I think they work very well as they are, don't seem to rip up the yard even when wet, that's a plus.

I've been using this HFT setup for quite a few years, no issues, price was right and, parts are easily found around the web. There are times you find that the big brands don't care about the product they sell to consumers. It sure works for me when I need them.

Yes, I thought it odd but, was told that 8" was discontinued so they went to the 10" rims but, had to maintain the correct height for the 4wd sync. I would think that they should have redesigned the tire rather than exposing the rim. All in all they seem to work very well.

If you note you see I did mention " It has in the past even swallowed my FJ 40 land cruiser, took my old 750 tractor and ate it." I no longer own either one, I recall the tires on the FJ 40 were from Dick Cepec , don't remember the spelling but they were 16" rims on it, was not a mud tire...

I use my JD 455 AWS diesel for mowing, turns as tight as a ZT plus I can use it for other tasks as well. I don't use the BX for mowing only as a loader.

That is right....Keep the rest guessing LOL. Back to the original post, the R14 tires do the job. No regrets here.

Tire Performance UPDATE ! Coming to you from the grey slime snot pit in my back property. This meadow in the back corner of my field is no doubt the devouring pit of my vehicles. It has in the past even swallowed my FJ 40 land cruiser, took my old 750 tractor and ate it. Trust me, it is the pit...

It seems the rim is bigger but overall the tire seems to be the same dimension. I notice that the rim protrudes a little beyond the sidewall. All in all, seems great.

Just got around mounting them on the BX2200D tractor. It had very good turf tires on it but, it was a little lacking when using the front bucket for hard work and, damp conditions. I don't mow with this tractor so...time for a change. I decided on the R14T tire that my Kubota parts pro...

After reading very informative posts here, I was on the fence between R4 or R14 thread. Well, I called my dealer and, talked to the parts pro, he said do the R14 tire. He then threw a price at me, Last set he had before the price increase .................four new tires and rims for my BX...

OK, got it to go! Amazing what lube will do if applied to the right spot. Smooth as silk now..... Next project is to stop the creep when taking foot off the pedal, gets hairy at times.

So when I try to move the PTO lever to engage the rear or any other, I can't seem to get it to move unless I hit it hard with my hand several times. I don't see a grease fitting on the linkage, tried to spray it with PB Blaster... no luck. What is this problem, what is the cure ?
