There is nothing you can do to this trailer to make it safely haul 7k. The axles are rated at 3.5k each. 7k total. Depending on the weight of the trailer itself it could haul probably between 5k-5.5k. The only way you are going to haul 7k is if the trailer weighs 0 pounds. Also with the axles...

Most likely a 7,000 GVW. 5K tractor plus the weight of the trailer itself is going to put you right at the limit of what that trailer will handle. I would not pull a 5k tractor with that trailer if it was me. If you do make sure you have really good tires. Sorry the seller lied to you.

My concerns as well. Just by the look of the back end I wandered if it was capable of hauling 5k. If it is it probably ridding the limit of what the trailer can handle.

Looks like you purchased utility trailer instead of an equipment trailer or car hauler. Is that trailer capable of hauling the weight of your tractor? It looks you have the wrong trailer for what you need.

Edge tamers would be the best for a gravel driveway. Only bad part is you can’t back drag.
