    BX Hazard/Turn Signal Bulb

Yea, put those in a few week's ago - huge difference in terms of brightness, however with the FEL on, that doesn't make too much of a difference. To combat that, I purchased a light bar, which does make a difference with the FEL on - bring on the snow!

    BX Hazard/Turn Signal Bulb

    Hi- Confirmed; the BX hazard lights are the 1156 common bulb. Picked up some LED equivalents at the parts store on the way home from work. Just put them in and they work - no hyper-flashing. My BX is now fully LED ***55357;***56832;

Third Function or Diverter on BX2350?

Ok, thank you. Yea, agreed - the dealer instructions seem to be the better of the two. Between those and your detailed post, I think I can do this! Still no grapple, which is my goal, but at least I'll have the option.

Third Function or Diverter on BX2350?

Thanks for the additional info B737 - very helpful! Did you find any other differences between the dealer instructions and the more generic instructions? I've perused both and the dealer instructions seem to be very in-depth and do provide a good level of detail.

Third Function or Diverter on BX2350?

I'm considering adding a third function kit to my BX1860 as I eventually plan to get a grapple. This post really helped me to understand some of the work involved. Overall looks pretty straightforward with the exception of the initial plumbing at the block. @B737, are you saying that the...

Installing 3rd Function Valve on BX

Hi- I’m thinking of getting a 3rd function valve for my BX1860. I’ve been doing some reading on self-installing and seems pretty straightforward overall. Has anyone done this on the 60 series BX? Any pitfalls to watch out for? Is the electric component difficult to install? Thanks for...

    BX Hazard/Turn Signal Bulb

Hi- Anyone know the generic bulb/base type for the BX turn signal/hazard bulb? I was thinking about swapping mine out for LEDs, but not exactly sure what I would need. Also, would I need to use a resistor of some type? I have a BX1860; not sure if this matters or if Kubota uses the same bulb...

    Bio Kleen PowerService Questions

Would it be ok to mix the summer (silver bottle) PowerService and the winter (white bottle)? Sorry for the term confusion; I thought Bio Kleen made PowerService. Thanks!

    Bio Kleen PowerService Questions

Hi- I filled the tank on my BX and added the recommended amount of summer PowerService (1/4 oz., silver bottle) a month or so ago...I haven't had to run the tractor that much so the tank is still pretty much full, maybe down to a quarter... Now it's starting to get into the 30's at night here...

    Valve Stem Question

Thanks for the response. The tires are filled with Rim Guard and yea, I did have tubeless but the tire wouldn't stop leaking, so in went the tube. Actually a long story that ended in my garage wall (and myself) being covered in tire ballast solution...but I digress. He said they flushed the...

    Valve Stem Question

Hi- I had a new tube put in one of the rear tires of my BX and then had them re-loaded at the local dealer. After getting home I put the tire back on my tractor with the valve stem in the 6 o’clock position. When I went out into the garage this morning, I found about 1/2 of a teaspoon of fluid...

    OK a dumb one

They may balled up in electrical tape. I thought my BX was missing these, but found them tightly wrapped up in tape.

BX1860 3 Point Hitch Arm Drop

Good info - thanks! Not sure if it matters, but I had a bunch of suitcase weights as a ballast for the loader work I was doing. It makes sense that those bouncing around could strain the system.

BX1860 3 Point Hitch Arm Drop

Good point! The tractor wasn't parked for long, and the bucket was down, but I did have the 3-pt. hitch raised while I hopped off to do a couple of things. I'll start lowering it as a matter of habit though as you're right, could be a safety issue if left up and then it drops on something or...

BX1860 3 Point Hitch Arm Drop

Ok, thanks for the tip. I know the knob you are talking about and I managed to finally unstick this last week using some WD40. I'll give that a try.

BX1860 3 Point Hitch Arm Drop

Hi- On a BX, is it normal for the 3-point hitch arms to drop a little when the tractor is off, with weight on the (about 410 lbs) hitch? I was doing some loader work with my 2012 BX1860 yesterday and noticed that when I got off the tractor to do some other work, I'd come back and the lift...
