    Climate Controls

Look at the following taken from the WSM. This may be the w=switch you are talking about as a guess. It looks like the switch assembly just pries out. Dave

    B2400HSD clutch safety switch

Are you the only one to use this equipment? No kids or relatives? A next door neighbour, who races Formula Ford cars so mechanically knowledgeable, bypassed a safety switch and then cut the end of his prominent hand middle finger off in a moment of brain fade when he touched the edge of the...

    B2400HSD clutch safety switch

Most hesitate advising you re bypassing safety switches. Too many sad stories. Once you have it tightened switch with slip pliers why not try adding silicone caulk to try and keep parts secure. Dave

    B7800 stalls

I have attached the Supplement to the B7800 HST WSM which has all the electrical info you will need to find the problem. Start on page 2-M3 and not the wiring as the OPC system is where you need to focus Dave

Gearbox Lube 80-90W EP vs SAE 80W90

The key to your question are the letters EP which stands for Extreme Pressure. Gears are not all the same and some designs put a great deal more pressure on the two mating surfaces hence the need for the extreme pressure additive. Do your equipment a favour and use exactly what is specified. Daave

    B2620 glow plug trouble shooting

The wiring diagram does not show that differentiation as exists on the glow indicator systems. This owner would see the light in the key switch start position also. That is how I interpret the wiring diagram NIW provided earlier Dave

    B2620 glow plug trouble shooting

Could it be that the owner is not using the pre-heat position on the key switch? My version of the WSM shows such a position but the owner never mentions it. Dave

L175 Alternator replacement: 4 wire to 3 wire

The alt has an internal regulator and it has a 3rd small wire for tractor models where the alternators internal regulator sends pulses to the dash tach. I think you could just leave it unconnected. Dave

    Kubota break light switch

You need to contact a Kubota dealer in another part of the world such as UK if you want to find the switch you saw in the WSM. Some alternatives for you to consider: A clutch pedal switch for a L3130 HST model looks very similar to the brake pedal switch: Places like eBay sell many...

    Kubota break light switch

You are from Romania In North America tractors are not required to have brake lights and most manufacturers do not install them. Your photo looks to be from a manual and often Kubota uses the same version of their manual in many countries. That is why you see a brake light switch but North...

    B3200 Bucket Lifts slowly.

The first item to suspect are hydraulic quick couplers. Open and re-set the two involved in the function you find slow. If nothing improves, swap the lift arm hoses for the bucket hoses and see if the problem moves. Couplers can fail internally so you may have to replace one or two. Have you had...

    B2650 alternator upgrade

You video will be a big help to many. Were you able to retain the original warning light for no charge situations? What is the output in amps of the new unit? There is another possible option, John Deere has a 3 wire dynamo on some models which has an output of 35 amps. In some Kubota...

    Digital Tach preference

Before the era of the digital tach's like the one whitetiger uses, I had a digital strobe light at work.. I also have a reflective stripe type as it is small and easy to carry. Unlike the current strobes which require reflective strips etc, my unit illuminated a big area and you could change the...

Bernie Some of the early B's had splines at the front end of the crank. None of your pictures show the end of the crank with the broken part removed. Could you provide please. This spine provided a place for a female half to slip over. If this is how yours was originally, two or three...

Kubota B6000E front PTO flange and shaft to clutch

That front drive setup was used by early B series tractors. Both for a belly mower and a front snow blower. Often this hardware was used to drive an auxiliary hydraulic pump for things like a loader. Contact forum member 007kubotaguy using the envelop symbol at top right of most forum pages...
