B7610 Electrical Issue - dash lights won't come on and won't start

Find and check for a slow blow fuse. It will be a 30 amp green one and located close to where the battery cable meets the starter motor. If it is blown there has to be a reason way and your story may have earlier chapters such as the connection of booster cables or a battery charger with cables...

Replacing Rubber steering ball joint grease cups..? See pics.

You need to be prepared for a fight getting the tapered fit to release. The proper tool needs room above the stud to work which I dont think you have. A pickle fork bar is what you need because you do not care that it damages the rubber boot. pickle fork Dave

    I did a dumb thing

Take some photos of the top of your battery and also where the ground cable connects to the chassis. Post them here. A 13 year old machine will have some poor connections to the battery or frame. Unless you connected the booster cables reversed, the bigger battery will have done nothing. Dave

L2900 cut off during use. Engine turns over, but won't start.

From memory, i think your tractor's fuel shut off works the opposite to what you would normally expect. When the key is turned off power is sent to the fuel shut off solenoid for a few seconds by a timer relay to give the engine time to stop. Try unplugging the stop solenoid connector and...

    B2650 Float issues

The Kubota cables seems to be very high tech with the goal of keeping moisture out. However, should moisture get in you have an annoying problem. I have had moderate success buying a large horse size syringe and injecting gas line antifreeze through the rubber seals. My tractor has a cab and I...

    B2650 Float issues

What hydraulc fuilds and filters are you using. Others who have deviated from the /super UDT or I think it is called premium UDT in Canada, have reported erratic operation in temp extremes . Do you follow Kubota's extensive warm up regime. This is for the benefit of the transmission and...

    Kubota ZD1211 "ERR2" Code

Kubotabooks.com has the WSM including wiring diagram in the mower section. Kubotabooks My first guess is that a mistake was made installing the battery.. The Err 2 speaks to a power failure which is the blown fuses. You have a dynamo for battery charging which is almost bullet proof but the...

    Tractor Hop

My post points out ONE consideration but not the only one I watched a John Deere engineering video on the subject of tractor hoping. They demonstrated that hopping starts to occur with a 6% wheel slip. It happens because of tire sidewall flexing Tire pressure, especially on the fronts, has a big...

    B1700 charging issue

The WSM had a section for upgrading the dynamo to a 40 amp alternator. I have attached it because it gives you ideas on how to install the alternator. Today's alternators with integral regulators makes things much easier. Dont get carried away with too big an alternator as drive pulley size will...

New To Me B2771 and Subframe

I have a much bigger blower on a M7040. My comments arise from a previous thread where someone bought a used blower and mounted it on a different end of the tractor than it was designed for. Dave
