    50 Hour service

Got the oil done. Does Kubota hire gorillas to put these filters on? Thanks god I still had my strap wrench to get it off. Bent the filter a little. Was going to let the HST fluid drain whil I go back to work but my oil pan I have been using the last 20 years is to tall by a half inch. This...

    Mower deck greasing

That black box is a gear box. 2 screws on the side to check or drain. That is over the center blade. But the holes underneath by the blade has me wondering if its some kind of drain or should there be zurks.

    Mower deck greasing

Have my deck off so good time to grease it up. The top two outer pullies have zurks. The center one does not but a box is on it. Am assuming its a sealed oil system but not sure. Posting a pic. Also, when I turned it over, the shaft housing has a hole but no zurk. Posting a pic of this to. Is...

    50 Hour service

Looked underneath the tractor a few hours ago. I will be doing this myself. Will pick up supplies from Kubota tomorrow to get it done this week. Just hit 49 hours. HST filter looks a little tight to get to but shouldn't be a problem. Thanks again for everyones replies.

Bottom of my bucket has no paint

I do use the bucket to level out some what I dumped but back dragging does a good job finishing it up. I will just keep an eye on it. Thanks

    50 Hour service

Thats pretty sad to hear. Would think they wouldn't want a bad reputation for poor work if word got out. Thanks

    50 Hour service

I was wanting the dealer to do it so they can also check it over. But, if they can't get me in sooner, may do it myself. Finally took my deck off so I'll take a look underneath to see if I will have any issues. Since having multiple back surgeries (lowest 6 discs fused), quit doing my own...

    50 Hour service

Have 42 hours on my 1880. Have about 10 hours of work to do on my driveway. Appt set for service next month. Will Kubota deny warrenty claims if they see I went over a few hours for service? Am hoping I can finish in 8 hrs but wanted to check if this would be an issue. If I hit 50 hours before...

Bottom of my bucket has no paint

Thanks folks. I tried my back blade going in reverse instead of spinning it around but didn't do so well. Was hoping it would level as I go but didn't seem to work very well. May try spinning it around and try again. Wasn't sure how durable these bucket are so thats why I asked. Still learning...

Bottom of my bucket has no paint

I do allot of back dragging maintaining my long driveway that has class II on it. If I paint it, it will be scraped off the next month. Do you folks keep painting it or just leave it bare? Open to suggestions on something more durable to paint it. Am still learning to use my back blade but...

    Belly blade

Do they make a belly blade to go under the tractor where my mower is? Have seen them on larger tractors and when I drove for MnDot, we had them on some of our snow plows. Would be a nice attachment for my 1880.

small grass clippings getting past the single stage air filter on bx1880

I know on my new 1880, I have to seat it in after lining it up, or the cap won’t lock on.

    Rear blade

Haven’t tried Have not tried it in the winter yet. Am hoping the snow pusher I bought works with out removing to much gravel in my driveway. Until it freezes hard, I suspect I’ll be taking some off the top. Was thinking of removing the blade and trim 1/4 inch off the snow pusher blade.

    Rear blade

Just to add to the conversation, I brought in class 2 for my dirt driveway. Tried using the back blade to smooth it out but it kept digging in. I spun the blade around. Worked fairly well smoothing it out.

    Renting vs Buying attachments

Buy it. Use it. Offer your services to others to make a few bucks. Renting will be expensive if it takes more than a week if it’s a daily rental. As posted above, you can take your time to do the job right instead of being rushed and doing a sloppy job.

    Truckers, stay off the phone

When you see that crap, try to get the company name on the door and number if there is one. Call that company to complain. It works. Being a X truck driver, know of some drivers getting called on the carpet for crap like this. If no number on the truck, most trailers have a number.
