You shouldn't be able to assemble the drive shaft "out of phase" but I have seen quite a few times the locating tab either rusted or ground away so they will.

Bent driveshaft? Or driveshaft out of phase?

Looking at a picture of a 902 crankshaft it appears to me that the piston order is 1-3-2 from the pulley end or 3-2-1 from the flywheel end. ( I don't have an actual crankshaft) If you start with 1 a top dead center 3 will be next then 2 then 1 again so if you put 3 at the top it is 2 next then 1

Just to be sure, The flywheel end is where the starter is!

Are you turning the engine the right way? Counterclockwise from the flywheel end.

No matter what you did you couldn't change the firing order! That is set by the grind of the camshaft. You could easily have installed the gears out of time though!

We sold a lot of BX's, some with spacers. ( I have 1.5" spacers on my BX and fluid in the tires) and never saw a broken axle! We did have one customer break a rear axle on a Grand L 6040.

How is all this dirt going to get in when you remove the pinions? The pinions are on the bottom!

If you removed the pinion gear from the bevel gear casing at the wheel on both sides you would eliminate 95% of the front axle drive and it would be a 2 wheel drive. very easy to do too!

The coil side of the starter relay is activated by the main switch only in the start position. It looks to me like the ST and the G wires are switched somewhere or have gotten connected together .

Likely the seat switch. There are two layers to the spring holding the seat up and the switch open when you get off. remove one of those leafs and the problem will likely go away.

It's like " winning" an auction on ebay! You don't win anything you just paid more for it than anyone else was willing to! Around here Kubota's go higher at auction than we were able to get on the lot! We sometimes took tractors to auction for that reason.

Yes, you can remove the cable and the banjo bolt then the 3 bolts and take that valve out. There is a small sleeve ( black) that connects that valve internally that I suggest you replace. I have reused them but they don't always seal up and it could cost you PTO clutch overhaul if it leaks in...

One reason to do it could be so the trailer doesn't take so much oil out of the tractor. Or you could rig it so the tractor forces oil to both ports for fast dumping if the load is light.
