Spewing oil out of the O-ring or seal. See blue circle in pic. If you zoom in on the pic, it appears part of it is missing. Perhaps it dry rotted???

I need some guidance on replacing the o-ring or seal please. Is it as simple as removing the pto cable and the three bolts?
I have the workshop manual and the only discussion on removal is when the tractor/transmission is split apart. Yikes! I hope I don't have to go that far to repair!!!!

Thanks, Bucky

Yes, you can remove the cable and the banjo bolt then the 3 bolts and take that valve out. There is a small sleeve ( black) that connects that valve internally that I suggest you replace. I have reused them but they don't always seal up and it could cost you PTO clutch overhaul if it leaks in there! Take that hydraulic line right out rather than try getting the valve out with it there, if you bend it you will have trouble getting it to fit again. There are no parts available from Kubota to repair that valve. Be sure you are sitting down when they tell you the price!

Thank you very much for the advice. I will certainly replace the sleeve.
BTW, I was sitting down when I looked up the valve price from the dealer - a mere $486.54!!! lol However, Messick's in eastern PA lists individual parts for the PTO valve assembly. I'm hoping I can just order what I need instead of the complete valve assembly.

Thanks again for your help!
