Remover cotter pin and clean any grease. Small file or sandpaper and re-taper the end. This should help get rid of rust and where someone innits past used a hammer on it and flattened it out.

I was curious about the mil numbers and such dealing with turbine engine oils at work. The stuff "expires" and I love anything I can reuse.

Do you a have MIL SPEC number? You can see what it crosses to. Or any other spec number?

Remove sediment drain bowl from fuel cut off petcock. Clean bowl and throw away paper filter. Reinstall bowl and new inline filter. Bleed fuel to carb and enjoy.
