Setting up New PTO Slip Clutch, and why

Been down that road. My bush hog sat for two years once, one of the fiber disks stuck to the rear plate. Took it completely apart. Lots of rust, plus one fiber was cracked. Put in two new disks, cleaned, buffed the mating surfaces and put a thin film of grease on the pivot/bushing. I now...

    loose nuts

Parts finder shows bolts. The owners manual for a 1880 shows 110-132 ftlbs. I am guessing you are not getting them torqued properly. Plus now considering the number of times the wheel has come loose I am thinking the holes in the rim are deformed, making it even harder to try to keep the bolts...

    G5200 clogged block?

Has any one tried CLR ? I would think it would help a lot. Then do the normal flush.

    Cheater, cheater.........

As far as the threaded shaft sticking up, can you make a threaded plate that will bring you up above it. Even better would be one thick enough so it is a blind hole so you can't damage (hope fully) the shaft.

    Cheater, cheater.........

I was also thinking coffee mug. You need to make a nice one out of stainless. Then when people ask about it, you can tell them all about your turn table and other projects. 😁

    Got "squirrled" again!!!!!!

IF, it was me. I think I would cut the welds on the starboard one, press (or beat) the bar flat, then reweld. Save a lot of playing, trying to straighten that closes bend. 🤷‍♀️

New MX5400. Front axle dripping Sudt

I am wondering if it is the steering cyl. As it takes quite a while for the F. axle to warm up, but the hyds will warm up a lot quicker. Either way the dealer is the one to deal with.

I would try googling for a owners/operators manual. Lots of great info in it.

Little help on a Massey Ferguson 255

"S" is for start, or neutral for real. There SHOULD be a neutral safety switch on top of the trans, inline with the lever under the dash area.

    UDT fluid

Considering the cost of the equipment, I use nothing but oem fluids and filters. To me it is just not worth the risk.

Any additional nput on 3pt chippers?

I have the large woodland mill chipper, it seems to be well made, and they seem like a decent company. Also, they are the only ones to offer a trailer hitch, which I use a lot.

Lx3310 at dealer again 5th time

It would be interesting if you could put it on a dyno and load the engine. That way you could separate the engine and hyds from the hydro and brakes.
