    Your wheel diameter is a major factor when choosing the arm length. The shorter arms will give more lift but over a smaller range, think of the ark of a circle.

    I agree with BAP, figure out what you want for a blower first, then find a tractor to power it. Another option is to buy a second tractor, as long as you have someone to run it.

    I doubt there was much contamination/leakage from the trucks, as the fuel tanks, engines, trans, axles, etc are all basically sealed compartments. Plus if they had not done that, then they would have had to deal with all the above ground fuel and oil tanks that would have been flooded down stream.

    Desperate times, call for desperate measures. Considering what would have happened and the costs involved, a couple of pick ups is pretty cheap.

    I think what you're experiencing is the normal tightness of a new cylinder, the seals are grabbing onto the polished metal surfaces of the cyl wall and rod .
