I have a 4ft, front mount blower on a 24hp Massey with turfs. No counter weight and air in all tires. BUT, I am on flat ground. The tractor always does great.

Ballast, then chains. In the mean time, when having issues, pick up the blower a inch or so, this put the blower weight on the tractor, (ballast), plus the blower is not dragging on the ground.

Buy the used one, then trade it in on the new one, if it ever shows up.

Looking at the parts break down, the hi/low range lever should be pointed towards the front of the tractor, and the 2/4 wheel drive lever should have a 90' bend in it and be pointed towards the seat.

The M59 is hydro, has a pto, and has lots of lift capacity.

To help find a pump,(if needed) get a set of calipers and measure the pump shaft diameter, bolt hole width and diameter, and the diameter of the round part of the pump mounting face. You will also need the shaft dia, to replace the coupling. I am not a fan of that ridged coupling, a lovejoy...

I would say you didn't a "pump" failure, as much as you had a "coupling" failure. The key should fit snugly into the grove in the pumpshaft, and in the grove of the coupler. I am thinking both keyways a shot, which means a new coupler and a new pump. Plus the pump should slid snugly into the...

I would say you have done excellent. I am inclined to say you found your problem, and in the process have learned a great deal.

I looked up the pt# for your front wheel, then did a search, the only other tractor using that same pt# wheel is the L235. I would think others would fit but, ???? The interesting part is, it lists four different rear wheels, two ags, and two turfs, all of which are different sizes.

If the pump failed, you could very well have a system full of metal contamination, that will have to be delt with.

Is it the pump, or the pump drive. My bet would be the drive (coupling).

I meant the lever, so with the swing spool disconnected from the lever, both levers should have the same amount of travel. The side to side travel on both levers should be approximately the same. If anything with the swing spool disconnected, the swing may be a bit greater than normal. I would...

This may be a silly question, but does the lever have full travel ? I am just wondering if there is something, or corrosion limiting the travel of the lever.

If you really like this one, maybe turn one of the other ones into a parts machine, and put an engine in this one .
