    L3901, L4701, or MX5400

I have a L4600, was looking to buy a L3800 but the L4600 came up for sale in the town I live in. it was used with 176 hours on it, in good shape and the price was right so I got it. It was an excellent choice, glad I went with it over the L3800. The odds of you looking for a MX5400 and my...

How far can I lift front tires to gain depth on rear auger / Auger extension build

I understand budget and time! It does take time to apply the oil, I lay plastic down line up the post and slop it on, roll post then slop in on. Since I am not worried about it looking like a fine paint job it goes on pretty quick. the oil I save in 5 gallon buckets so have near endless...

How far can I lift front tires to gain depth on rear auger / Auger extension build

Pertaining to your post but not the auger. Do you plan on treating the bottoms of your posts? Recently pulled some up and although treated, from ground level down some were nearly have the diameter as the parts above ground. Just started rotting away over time. Read on here about treating...

    Ball Peen Hammer

Like Magicman, I keep a hatchet with me but a rubber mallet stays on a hanger mounted to my ROPS that I use when needed. My disk has 2 pins I have to pop out to adjust angle, a lick from the bottom with the rubber mallet and it pops up. Hooking up my brush hog requires little force on the...

    What's cookin' boys?

Thanks for the suggestion, I get great germination and 2 ears per stalk. Our problem here in NC is rain! I have a well I use to water, 156 feet deep so I can run it from Friday until Sunday night with no problems. Only used for garden, washing stuff etc.

    Rotary Cutter

It is bad stuff, lot of it here in Eastern NC. Little history below on it. I have never tried to mow it, luckily none on my property, good luck with it. Kudzu was introduced into the US in 1878 from Japan as a Centennial Exposition in Philadelphia and New Orleans in 1883 during an exposition...

    coastal multitrac tractor fluid

RCW that was cool taking my info and doing a little comparison. It would actually be less because I used the SUDT2 for my front axle as well, which I included in the cost to purchase and allowed for some extra for top off between changes. If memory serves me from last year it took about 13.8...

    Pallet Forks

Picked up my forks from an old forklift we had at work then bought the back plate from Titan attachments for $220. If you have a forklift company nearby may can pick up the forks for cost of scrap metal or free. The guys here were happy for me to take them so they did not have to haul them...
