What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I have the 3rd function set up already for my grapple. I've never had a front snow blower, but I assume that the loader stick controls raising and lowering the blower and the shute rotation. The 3rd function will control the shute throw height. ?? I'm just guessing. My dealer says the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

I think we've only gotten about 24" of snow the past couple weeks. It was the blizzard wind that picked up the snow and dropped in on my driveway because the driveway has either trees on the sides in the forest... Or an open farm field on both sides once outside the forest where my driveway...

    L3130 power issue

Not to hijack this thread, but my neighbor's L3301 has a start and quit issue as well. But, the power comes on whenever the key is switched on. I assumed it's summer fuel he's got in it. Its been below zero Fahrenheit for a week here. That and a lot of neglect on my neighbors part, as he's...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Today, and yesterday, I dug out my 1/2 mile long driveway. The blizzard winds blew feet of snow over the my driveway. Anywhere from 18" to 5 feet deep, and about 15 hours on my little LX2610 with the loader. I'm now ordering a front snow blower. I do really like our LX2610 Cab... most of...

To Plow or not To Plow

Plan to get a front snow blower next year for the LX2610. If we can afford the nearly 10,000 dollar price tag. Until then, I started using a rear blade. Although it's easier and faster to use the ATV snow plow for quick work. But only when it's not too cold.

To Plow or not To Plow

I agree. Back in the 1990's I had chains on all 4 wheels of my 4x4 in a blizzard. I was the ONLY one moving thru the forest and into town except the guy with a horse. I also carry 2 chainsaws in my truck toolbox, in case of driveway tree fall. It makes life interesting. Axle hop is bad in...

To Plow or not To Plow

Actually. I don't have the beloved B7100 anymore. But I keep it listed because it was my original foray into Kubota. My dad bought it in 1977. I was 15 y/o. It was MY tractor. And what an incredible machine it was.

To Plow or not To Plow

I'd considered Geohgah, Ala-Bam, and Flo-Ida, but coming from the Midwest and far west, I'd always be considered a Northhh-una. Got a brother in Florida. He says it's filling up with Nu-Yuakas.

To Plow or not To Plow

I have a long driveway in the forest. In a couple spots, one 30 yards long and the other about 100 yards long, it's moderatly sloped. I get the best traction on the sloped areas in unplowed snow. Snow is about 7 to 8" deep now and my SuperDuty is tall and glides over it with it no problem...

    Straps or Chains for trailering?

I use ratchet straps now, but will be replacing them with chains and binders. I always used chains in the past. But I didn't have to move a tractor for a few years until this past year with my LX2610. So recently I bought straps for the LX because they were alot cheaper. I regret that. In my...

    Electric Car in your future?

The facts are: Electric vehicles are the brain child of the Left to control the people in the name of Global Warming. But, the power to create the vehicles and the batteries that power them is still based on fossil fuel, (coal), hydroelectric dams, Nuclear, and solar /wind. The cost to...

    2022 Kubota LX2610 jerky

Had my LX2610 Cab model since May. No jerkyness on mine. Sure, there's the occasional operator error of slamming the loader stick or accidentally hitting the treadle pedal when getting off of the machine. She'll jerk real good then. No innuendo intended. I'm a toe to front of peddle...

    Lug nut reminder

I know that this thread has been quiet awhile, but I just checked the lug nuts in my LX2610, and found a stripped lug on the front left wheel. I know, I was late to check them, since I now have 42 hours on the tractor, but it's a bit frustrating. I'm taking it into my dealer this Friday for...
