    L2502 PTO switch

This is why I miss the manual transmission on my long sold B7100. Step on clutch, shift PTO lever into appropriate speed. Select transmission stick into appropriate speed. Give it a little RPMs as you slowly release the clutch. My LX2610 HST shimmies and shakes doing it the Operators Manual...

    Which model would you choose?

Compare the L2501 to an M, in person. L2501 will look rather small. After I read again the whole thread, a BX is probably all you need. Especially from your description of it's duties and how much you'll use it. Don't let the BX size fool you, it's a beast even though it kinda looks like a...

    Which model would you choose?

Not to hijack... But did the dealer tell you that Kubota is discontinuing the 2501 for the 2502? If K is, you could probably get a great deal on a L2501.

    Which model would you choose?

As you probably know, DG is great on flat ground, and slippery like snot if loose and wet on a grade. My recommendation for mainly winter use: L2502, stick shift, loader and box scraper. Box scraper over a land plane. More usefull at different tasks. If lots of summer use too: LX2610 with a...

My new truck won't handle the load

Gov regulations regarding crush and crumple zones weaken truck frames. Not just rust. Pickup trucks rarely bent in half 30 years ago. Look online and you'll find quite a few late model - bent in half pickup trucks.

    Another click no spin starter.

So, I'm a bit confused. The RTV wouldn't start and you found a broken weld at the exhaust pipe. It was hanging down and caused a short. So, the broken exhaust pipe shorted out the starter?

My new truck won't handle the load

Ah, ya know a truck is a truck. They get over loaded sometimes. It used to be that they over-built these trucks to handle it. Not so much anymore. You get only what you pay for. And sometimes not. Although I love my Ford Super Duties, since Ford went political with rainbows, I'll buy...

    Truckers, stay off the phone

Exactly!!! It won't end until they control your checking account. Order your gender, and burn you at the stake if you don't comply.

    Truckers, stay off the phone

Respectfully, in larger metropolitan places, it's usually the police volunteers or the non-sworn officers who go to BBQ or Party disturbance calls. The gun carrying - sworn cops don't usually get disturbance calls. Unless it's smaller town, or a quiet night. Is government over-reach the...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

See my previous post on this. Hand signals. And No Walk Zones. With the machine's noise... it's impossible to hear ANYTHING as a person on the ground and especially as an operator.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Agreed. Stuff happens fast. Stay safe. Have a program of hand signals if possible before working with men and machines. Glad everyone was OK.

    Truckers, stay off the phone

I'm all for the police. 100 percent. I worked with those heroes for 25 years. Heck, I'd say let them carry fully automatic machine pistols. And drive Dodge Hellcats. With the way the nuts and freaks are rampaging and killing innocent people in mass shootings over their mental dementia...

    Truckers, stay off the phone

There is a proper balance btwn doing things while driving. Eating a burrito, talking hands free on the phone, etc... Is way different than texting or watching videos on the road. It's common sense. Or not so common sense in today's world. And that's a problem. Government cameras isn't a...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

That is a very cool picture, @RCW ! Looks like The Batman on a budget. As if he could't afford a bat-snow mobile and got a K-mobile instead. BTW, if you do that a lot... one word.... Cab. But if you had a cab, we'd never been able to enjoy the picture! I sat in my heated cab LX2610 and...

    B2601 Loader

Do you mean that you're not removing or installing the loader? The "stand" bends it's mounting pins or bolts just while operating the tractor?

    B2601 Loader

I've never removed a front end loader in my life. Used lots of tractors and equipment but the loader stays on the tractor with the loader. My LX2610 has those stands and I'll never use them. I'd give you mine.... but as soon as I do... lightning will strike and I will need them.

    idiot engineers

Drive the speed of traffic. You are a nuisance and cause accidents if you don't. Like the jerk that drives 55 (posted speed limit) in the fast lane while everyone is going 80. Get with the flow and program or take the bus. I would have "failed" her too. As for the "idiot engineers' speed...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Oh, waahhh.😫 Near the house, the only good poisonous snake is a dead one. I've got a wife, a dog and family and friends around. I've picked the small ones up with a kids grabber toy and taken them miles away before. But now. my Ruger Mk4 22 saves me the hassle. I don't go messing with a...
