Personally, I prefer to just wear a headlamp. I don't have to light up the whole county to see what I'm doing, I only need the light where I'm looking. The headlamp always knows exactly where I'm looking ;) If I have to get off the tractor, the light follows me. No fancy assembly, no wiring...

If zero throttle is idle, lets say 1000rpm, and full throttle is 2500, then either way you look at it, half throttle would be about 1750. I don't care what it says in the manual, I'll continue to do what I've always done. This tractor will probable outlive me no matter how I treat her ;)

yeah, warming up at half throttle to heat up the hydo fluid makes more sense. I keep mine in the mancave, all warm and toasty, so by the time I drive to where I'm working (couple hundred yards or so) everything seems to work smoothly.

Sounds about right. Only thing that may be off is tires. I'm not sure which tires the main tractor weight is measured with. There is a small difference in weight between the tire types, and being filled, it could be more than a small difference.
