    Kubota ZD221 No Hydraulic Pressure

I know my ZT is not a Kubota but spells out a process to bleed the air out of the pumps when the oil is changed. In my case it was as simple as jacking up the rear and then placing the pump bypass into the towing mode and to move the levers and wheels back and forth. Place it back on the...

Buying a tiller. Should I go reverse tine?

This was my thought when I purchased mine. If the tractor is a gear drive the reverse action tiller would help control the forward motion of the tractor. With a hydro, a forward drive can be best controlled with the drive pedal. I have a hydro and a forward tine tiller and it has worked very...

Lifting 5gal cans of diesel fuel a problem

I keep the 30 gallon Handy tank in the barn and just top it off with five gallon cans. Much easier lift than over the hood to fill the tractor. Then when the tractor needs fuel I can simply crank the pump and watch the fuel gauge on the tractor.

    Engine damage from topping off?

I have had the most issues topping of GM products..>I used to blame the evap solenoids as being junk and then read topping off the fuel is often the culprit. Stopped topping off and no more replacing evap solenoids ever 15k miles. Oh and to stay on track with the original question, I do not top...

    Leaves - what to use

I have an older DR Leaf vac that I have used for years. I take the shredded leaves and put most of them in the garden and turn them under. The rest go in a pile up in the woods where my wife grabs some of hte old compost to add to her flower beds.

    Hearing Protection

The work tunes (marketed by 3M) have a NRR (noise reduction rating) (25db I think) and will not amplify any bluetooth input over 85db ....the music I am listen to is much quieter than the hum of the diesel and the whine of the HST. And yes as a result of construction for over 40 years I too...

    New garden question

I take the shredded leaves from my leaf vac (oaks and maples) along with the droppings from our three goats and turn it under every winter. I have done this for over 10 years in one space and I started a larger garden space about two years ago and it is starting to loosen up and turn a nice...

    Daily Chuckle

Reminds me of a time back in the 90's when I had to get to the heater core in my S10 pickup....😂 I swore if it ever happened again I would pay someone to replace it. Fortunately, that day never came.

    F##kin FORDS!

Not to bash but I feel your pain....I had a 2008 F150 several years back with the 5.4 Triton engine. That dang thing had more issues than I could imagine. I loved and took good care of it but it clearly did not feel the same. It lived up to the acronym Fix Or Repair Daily and cost me a small...

    What happened to my Kubota?

Like others have stated, with that low usage you should treat all of your fuel. I have a 2017 with over 560 hours on it so a 2016 with 27 is very unusual.

Kubota Z421KW 54" Zero Turn (Sold)

I am selling this mower for a family member that recently lost her husband so she now has no use for this mower. The mower was purchased in October 2021 for the upcoming season. It is effectively new with a total of 4.3 hours and there are no issues with the mower. Both keys and the manual...

    Daily Chuckle

OMG, This is what I married into! What the heck was I thinking. My father in law had two daughters so when I came along he needed a good strong back. Kind of funny how well I remember being up on the trailer with a hay hook in my hand flipping them off the chute of the baler and stacking them...

    220V heater questions

85Hokie hit the nail on the head. You are going to need a 2pole 30amp breaker and 10/3 wire with ground for each heater. Breakers and fuses are typically designed to be loaded at 80% for continuous duty. A single 5000 watt heater will draw approximately 20.8 amps at 240 volts. Hopefully this...

    Forum Names and Avatars?

Mine is more situational based. I live in a house full of women, my dog and other critters are all female. I am completely outnumbered. Although I did marry off one of my daughters a few years ago and gained a son in law but they are 3 hours away. 🍻 At this point in my life, I would not...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Finally got the chance to get some of the firewood up that I had dropped and split a few weeks ago. Eight loads, plenty of firewood for next year or the year after as I have another two cords in the barn that I cut last year. Finished the day off putting the box blade on and doing a little...

    Love expressed by animals

Sitting in the recliner just dealing with random thoughts from the unexpected loss of a family member a week ago and our dog hops up in the chair and stretches out and lays her head on my leg. These animals know when you have a heavy heart and will give their love without question.
