    A rare sight

I vote real pic after seeing one similar. Had that happen to one just outside my front door 12-15 years ago. The tree survived the strike only to blow over in one of the tropical storm remnants a few years ago. I cut it up for fire wood and you could count back in the rings as when it was...

    Precision Trailer Moving?

This Harbor Freight item is an option if it is a single axle. I have used them to move vehicles around in a parking deck. One for each wheel and off you go. +2More DAYTONA 1300 lb. Capacity Self-Loading Positioning Wheel Dolly (565)Write a Review This vehicle positioning wheel...

Anyone here own a boat, or know a lot about boats?

Hah, kind of a precarious position standing on the ladder (3 rungs down from the top) of my swim platform and hugging the lower unit of my motor which was turned hard towards the platform for access. I was drifting in about 8 ft of water when it I had to change it. Fortunately, it was 90...

Anyone here own a boat, or know a lot about boats?

I carry a spare and it has saved my hind parts. I often run the shallow bars down in coastal Carolina and found a section of rope at about 40mph that destroyed the hub on my SS prop. I climbed off the swim platform, put the aluminum spare on and proceeded the 12 miles back to the house we had...

42 in adjustable forks are the way to go, mine are by Titan and I have put them through the ringer cleaning up the old farm place.

    My Kubota Helper

A lot of people miss this one. Most of the small engines use a mechanical "slinger" for oil and if there is enough slope away from the slinger it will effective starve for for oil and in my case a premature detonation ending in the rod exiting the engine block. :) Only pressurized oils systems...

    Just whinning

I agree and have been in the buy two camp for a while, now I am back to the buy one as soon as I use the last one. Oil, filters, belts, grease, blades etc. I changed the deck and drive belts on the riding mower last weekend and immediately ordered new belts for the next time.

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Don't shy away from the bolt on version either. I have tortured the bolt on hooks I purchased from Ken's. With the help of these hooks and some transport chain I have cleared approximately 40 acres of fences, gates, T-Posts, and old telephone poles from the old farm. So nice to have it opened...

What did you do to or on your Kubota today?

Took the last load (for now) of fence wire and old gates from the ole farm. I had a nice suprise when the shredder material price for scrap had jumped to $8 per 100lb. Nice to get a little money to offset my fuel costs for cleaning up the old farm.

A bit of R&R this week.

Congratulations and well done for hanging in there. My wife and I will hit the 40 year milestone in June. There were a few bumps early on but am sure glad we stuck it out and made it work. As you know it can definitely get better as the years click by. I hope you get another 20 years with...

    Pulling T-Posts

I just finished pulling a couple hundred posts with one of these. They are worth it for sure if you have a lot of posts to pull. I have "Ken's Bolt on Hooks" on my bucket. Had about a 8 ft length of chain and simply hooked it over the post then in the grab hook on the bucket and hit the...
