    Landpride tiller or tsc

I was struggling with the decision between the Landpride and TSC. I noticed the land pride had fewer tines and less weight which drove me to the less expensive TSC. No regrets as it does what I ask of it and after two seasons really does not look like it has been used that much. Well worth it...

    A Bit of R&R

Hey Magicman, it looks like I was in Hatteras the same week you were on the coast. We had a great two weeks of fishing too.

    Zero Turn and leaves

You can say that again.....I was pulling the aerator this weekend loaded down behind my commercial PT54 Husqvarna (Ok it's orange ;)) zero turn then got stung on the top of my head and while trying to swat it and stop on a damp slope, I slid into my 3 board fence. Oh well, a sore head from the...

    In the garden

It is funny you mentioned rabbits and gardens. Last night my wife and I watched a big rabbit sneak into our garden which has electric all around due to the deer that keep eating everything around us. We were surprised to see the rabbit as we have not seen one in years due to the darn coyotes...

L3130 : Front tire won't release any air

If the tractor is second hand the previous owner may have filled the tire with slime sealant to address a slow leak. As others have mentioned remove the valve stem core and see if it is still plugged if not replace the core and all is good. If it is still plugged after removing the core, you...

    L3901 and 7’ box blade

I agree the I have a 5' box behind my 3901 and it is about perfect for the weight of the tractor with loaded R4 tires. A 7' will load up too much material and the wheels will begin to spin. This will mean more passes and frustration.

Cracked HST Housing - Removing tires

I have to agree that if you are careful and think your steps through you can safely handle the tires. I have unfortunately been in a rough predicament with my mother-in-laws old Ford 2600 which has calcuim cloride loaded tires that are much larger than my Kubota L3901 tires. One split...

    Hearing Aids...Best Approach?

I have the Widex digital. It has helped a lot and I can adjust it from my phone and tweak the levels for different surroundings which is nice. They are not cheap as I only have one for tinnitus and high frequency loss in my left ear only. This one as something called the "Zen" mode where it...

    Weird tire issue

I know its not my Kubota but I tow a 21' tandem boat trailer between central VA and the OBX of NC (600 miles round trip) a few times a year and my shortest runs are approximately 100 miles round trip. I have had way too many failures (separated belts, blow outs and warts on the sidewalls) on...

    Tiller and Quick Hitch question

Unfortunately I have no idea, I can't find any identification on it and it came with the tractor when I bought it used a few years ago. I love it and have all my attachments setup for it. It can be a smidge tight to get in the to hook up the pto but not too bad as only use the pto for the...

    Tiller and Quick Hitch question

I have a 60" County Line tiller I picked up at Tractor Supply a couple of years ago. My tractor is a L3901 with a quick hitch and R4 tires. No customization was required on the PTO shafts and it covers my tire tracks so I would not change anything.

    Bafoon......Me that is!

Well a long time ago my dad taught me to own up to my mistakes. I have even gone as far as poking fun at myself when I pull a really good one. This is one of those cases where I am owning this one and feeling that I deserve a trophy for the most thorough destruction of an iPhone. (Heck sorry...

Call before you dig! Every time you dig!

Glad to hear there was no major issues other than the foot, hate to say it but it definitely could have been worse. Back in my old electrical construction days I called Miss Utility who provided the free locating services here in Virginia to mark a property I was getting ready to run a ditch...

    Not What I Expected

Went down to the barn to grab the tractor and haul some supplies down to the back field. Hopped on the tractor and turned the key, once the glow plug light went out I cranked the engine and heard all kinds of noise and slapping around that was clearly not normal (and I am hard of hearing). The...

Intermittent starting problem - help please!

I had a similar thing happen on my 3901HST a few months back. I played with it for a few days and then discovered if I pushed back on the PTO switch it would fire right up. I adjusted the nut on it to ensure it hit the micro switch on it and no more problems. Hopefully it is a simple fix like...
