Is a L4701 to big to mow my yard?

Me perennially: Not a fan of big heavy machines to mow lawns, way too much compaction. Being a lawn geek that tests his soil and all that, you want it to be as loose as possible. I don't even mow with my little BX. Depends on what you want I guess, I like to keep the lawn as nice as possible.

AGM Battery? Is it worth it?

Bought an Odyssey for my Can Am, killed it a few years later, was not impressed. Then again my 4-wheelers do NOT see regular use at all.

    Front Axle Fluid Level…. Again!

I am now leaning toward a dealer/manufacturer conspiracy to not fill all of our front differentials. :alien::alien::alien:

what the heck does this thing do?

Huh. That little pocket area catches all the PCV blow-by oil on my wifes 3.6L Chevy. Not sure if that's what it's supposed to do but that's what it does. :geek:

    Farm Credit

This thread is a microcosm of our society today. This country is doomed. The people who want the great reset are going to win. I wonder if this means we'll have to turn in our high capacity assault tractors?

    Looking to buy a BX23s

Good luck OP, I'm rooting for you. However I have this over-riding feeling about the whole issue the Kubota and/or the dealer is going to say "yea, we don't care"...and the next guy in line is going to come by in the next second and snap it right up for 28K.

    Looking to buy a BX23s

The market is going nutty with everything. Supply and demand are way off with so much stuff. OP: any chance of playing hardball with the dealer? try to make them eat half the 15%? probably not I bet. Whatever your choice, you'll be happy. Hold out for the machine if you can, it's worth...

What a change in the weather

<shrug> Perfectly normal for New England too. 90's the past 3 days....now tonight cold front moving in it's going to be in the 40's tonight. 😁 Of course in New England we don't call the 40's actually cold, we call it "crisp". A bit too cold to jump in the pool though, for me anyways. 🤣

    BX 23S Stationary PTO issue

yea. I went through the motions 3-4 times on everything, flipping the seat 2 different ways, parking brake, neutral, etc, etc. I most definitely found the culprit to be the PTO selector lever. I'm able to prevent it from stalling by jamming downward toward the rear PTO position and holding it...

    BX 23S Stationary PTO issue

2020 BX 23S 40 hours Newbie owner Went to use my chipper for the first time yesterday. Everything in neutral, flipped the seat up with back lever, engage pto, stalls. sat in seat, engage pto stays running. get up, stalls. Go get the manual, follow directions, stalls. repeat everything, check...

    Hydraulic Fluid on Floor

When my dealer installed my grapple on my new tractor, one of the lines worked its way loose and shot some fluid, I want to say a good 5-6 ounces. I re-tightened it, checked the fluid level, no change. It's been fine since. I would make note of it, find where its coming from, take a pic...

    3 point hitch 101

I just want to add to this thread because I could not find it anywhere on the internet: 2021 Woodland Mills WC46 + 2020 Kubota BX 23S = a stock PTO shaft trim of 9 (NINE) inches! Every video I watched was either 1/2 inch or maybe up to a few inches. I was so worried I got my measurements wrong...
