Me perennially: Not a fan of big heavy machines to mow lawns, way too much compaction. Being a lawn geek that tests his soil and all that, you want it to be as loose as possible. I don't even mow with my little BX. Depends on what you want I guess, I like to keep the lawn as nice as possible.

yea. I went through the motions 3-4 times on everything, flipping the seat 2 different ways, parking brake, neutral, etc, etc. I most definitely found the culprit to be the PTO selector lever. I'm able to prevent it from stalling by jamming downward toward the rear PTO position and holding it...

Was this resolved? I'm having the same issue with my BX 23S. won't stay in rear mode unless I slam it and hold it there. Posted this morning about it.
