That's a beaut! Looks about the same age as mine but yours is in far better condition. On mine, the rear part of the loader is attached to the frame using bolts with a long flat section which is slid through from the front and nuts tightened at the rear. I have no idea what these bolts are...

Another way might be to use a ring spanner and hit the head of the bolt straight on with a hammer while applying a lot of pressure to the nut with the spanner. In theory its like a gentler impact wrench

FEL was raised when this happened. Otherwise the forks would have gone into the cab. It seems too that the tailgate would be in worse shape if the tractor had gone forward through it. The only logical explanation therefore is that it was on that chinese rocket and just happened to land on that...

I will go through the tests but it was fine until the seals started leaking, which is why I replaced them. They were the original seals, so about 30 years old. I don't have forks and the loader is usually off the tractor unless I need it. I'll get a blank in town tomorrow Thanks

I replaced all the seal packs a couple of weeks ago. The lift cylinders are holding but the curl seals are dropping quicker than before. I must have damaged one or put it in backways.

Can you put it in 1000rpm and reduce the engine revs accordingly?

There was some sort of blockage in the tank. Owner took the fuel line off the first filter and nothing flowed out. Blew back into the tank and it cleared. Ran fine after that. Looks like a tank flush in on the cards. Thanks for taking the time to reply

Hi guys, Is there an in-tank fuel filter in the g23? Stalled in middle of a garden. Will crank and start but dies immediately. All fuel filters are new. Thanks for any help

Further quick question on this. Finally got around to changing the other 3 seal kits but can't for the life of me remember which way the inner seal with the lip goes. Is it towards the threaded part or the outer side. Thanks

Boss just bought a s/h G23. Before it goes to work is there anything to check

Had this happen to me once. My problem was too much slack in the turnbuckle causing it to lock up. Tightened it a couple of turns and it came off no problem. Hope that helps

The part that shocked me was that you can drive for 14 hours straight with a farm plate as long as you don't go outside 150 miles.

Nothing wrong with a slope to the door. Makes power washing possible
