    Analysis Paralysis L2501/LX2610SU…….B2601

TomRC - I read your comment about lawn and pasture work and a possible concern over weight, If you are going to use one machine and have a large front and rear lawn to mow, I would suggest the use of turf tires on a L2501 with a rear finish mower, they will be much easier on your nicer finished...

    Analysis Paralysis L2501/LX2610SU…….B2601

TomRC - Everyone is going to have a view on this! First your options are all good machines. My input is to go L2501, it's not that big a tractor but it has enough HP and lift capacity to be very useful. I use my smallest tractor L3200 for so many tasks, spreading, rototilling, chipping, light...

    Getting Started

If I was mowing 13 acres there is a big difference between a 5 & 6’ brush hog, I would definitely run a 6’ wide version, I run both widths today but would not run a 6’ wide brush hog on my smaller L3200 tractor, it will bog down when I’m cutting tall heavy meadow grass and brush. I support your...

    Stabilizer arms $170 on ebay

I use the larger version on mr L series, they are my favorite add on that I ever made. The larger MX tractors have them as standard, they are so convenient to use. If you are on the fence and have several attachments, buy them.

    Ripping Out Sod

Based on what you have I’d use the backhoe and scrape off the grass and try to maintain approx 4”, the back blade will be great to level out the area once the grass is gone. I have a Kubota track loader that would just eat that task, sorry I’m not close. Good luck with your task

Arm Rests for Kubota MX5800 - John Deere Folding Armrest Kit

I will do, hopefully will see delivery of the L3901 armrests in the next 48 hours, everything is running so slow with USPS these days. I'll take a few more photos to show install. Keeping fingers crossed that they fit.

Arm Rests for Kubota MX5800 - John Deere Folding Armrest Kit

I just wanted to share this to confirm that a John Deere armrest kit does fit a MX5800. I did some searching on here and found an old post about using John Deere part for arm rests for a Kubota MX5800. I purchased the John Deere Adjustable Armrest Kit Part No. BM23761, cost of $85 plus shipping...

    Box Blade Question

I’m not a BX owner but see the rear lift listed at approximately 650 lbs at 24”. The K K box blade and quick hitch are getting up in weight, I recommend sticking with the lighter Land Pride model.

Thoughts on two 72 inch rotary cutters ?

Ken, I think you will get away with a 6’ based on your light cutting of weed heads, if you were cutting longer full width material you may struggle with pto HP. I had an old flex link King Kutter, it was a good product. I’d save the money and buy K K or craigslist used. Just be careful not to...

Need advice on how to operate my tractor

Papaj that’s why we have tractors so things only take 8 seconds, I’m sure the wife is happy too as you did not get Impaled. I know that I would struggle to get half the things done without my tractors and equipment. Best of luck finishing your job.

    Snowblower

Wow, those front mount snow blowers are expensive, I commented earlier that I run a 6' rear version from Woodmaxx the current cost is $2,400 delivered, they also make smaller ones. I appreciate that a front mount is easier to use but you said you have a large open area to clear, why spend $5.5K...

Need Bearings and seals for mower gear box

Hi, these are fairly special parts and you are likely to be limited to kubota dealers. Find the part numbers and then google search or visit your local dealer. Online Messicks or Coleman should be able to help you. good luck in your search

    New tractor-B2401

I would recommend you either have a ballast box or attachment on the back as you test out your loader..I suggest that you check you have the correct level of hydraulic fluid in your tractor. Other than that you need to make sure your revs are high enough to pump enough fluid and generate the...

Land Pride Vs Artillian pallet forks

Greg86z28 - Thanks for that input on the Land Pride Forks. My only comment is that these forks are rated at 1,200 lbs. A L2501 typically has a LA525 loader, if you look at specs for that loader you will see a number of figures, those forks are right at the limit of the loaders possible capacity...

Land Pride Vs Artillian pallet forks

Jester67, I'll second the Every thing Attachments 2,200 lbs rated forks as they are light and they are 42". I strongly recommend 42" forks and would say these are the minimum for handling any weight on a standard pallet. I've purchased a number of attachment from EA and have had good outcome...

New member, first time tractor ordered, L3901-HST

    1. You asked for the part number on the telescopic stabilizers, your local dealer should have them. I believe you will find them very useful despite the top and tilt in the long run. 2. Here is the link on the ROPS basket, I copied another members idea and love the outcome...

Land Pride Vs Artillian pallet forks

L2501 is a great selection, welcome to tractor ownership. If your looking at forks there are lots of options in the market, I would recommend 42" forks on your L series they are a good all around option. The link you posted was a fairly expensive heavy looking set of forks. Take a look at...

    Snowblower

Based on tractor data standard overall track width oy your model is just under 60", you were talking about a 64" blower, should be fine. If you are clearing large open areas I would definitely go with smaller 64" unit to ensure you can run it fully and achieve maximum throwing distance, the...

    Snowblower

I think If you are only handling snow as described you may be happy with a bigger unit but I would suggest go to the smaller unit and have the full performance of the smaller unit, it sounded as if throwing distance was an important issue for you. Bigger unit means you may have to travel...
