    BH Bucket Size

I’d go the 12” bucket route based on your ground. if you plan a lot of stomp removal, a ripper or rake attachment are very useful.

Woodland Mills WC-68 or WoodMaxx TM-8H or WoodMaxx WM-8H

8H is definitely worth the extra $500. It will always resell well. Rent the mini ex when you need one, the chipper always has work to do.

I think it's time to upgrade the B2650

I run a L3901 and think the loader is not that capable but it is all relative to the user. I have a set of UA 42 “ forks and frame on my loader most of the time. I recently had my chipper on a pallet in the back of my pick up and wanted to unload it with my L3901. My chipper weighs right around...

Woodland Mills WC-68 or WoodMaxx TM-8H or WoodMaxx WM-8H

I’m voting for option 3, I have a woodmaxx 9900 chipper and run it a lot, I also own a Woodmaxx rear snow blower. The model you are looking at in option 3 has a variable speed hydraulic infeed, this is a real requirement and will make you 5 times more productive. Woodmaxx is well built and well...

    B2601 or L2501

When I purchased my first tractor I researched the HP requirement of the attachments I felt I may use and lots of them fell into the 20-25HP range, I decided to buy a L3200 HST as it had just over 25 HP at the PTO, it was the right decision for me. The L2501 is just under 20 HP at the PTO. As...

    Skid Steer Attachment Compatability

I run one on my MX5800 that I purchased some years ago from Titan or pallet forks.com. I Thought it was good value and very robust. There are no issues with it fitting your tractor and it requires 3rd function front hydraulics. Use carefully on you tractor front end loader so not to do any...

    Diesel Cold Weather Additive

Anyone know if winter off road diesel has additives added as road diesel does?

    Pallet Attachment

I agree too. It’s hard to imagine living without them, mine typically stay on my MX 5800 about 90 % of the time, the other 10% is grapple time. When I’m concerned about the FEL capability I use a heavy set of forks on my Kubota track loader. Loading and unloading trailers and pick up become so...

    B2601 or L2501

These machines both have similar capabilities, if you need mid pto it must be the B. L will perform better on ground work, box blade, disk etc. due to increased weight. B has some finishes L does not. Make sure you see both in person and sit on them, ideally drive them both. Your acreage is...

    Snowblower Shear Bolts

I’ve never seen a grate in the chute! I don’t understand why it would be there. my Woodmaxx is lined. Their SB-series snow blowers utilize a high-density polyethylene chute liner to keep the snow moving and prevent snow from freezing on and plugging the discharge chute. This liner also provides...

    Dovetail or Flatbed Trailer?

It sounds like you are talking about a landscape utility trailer, 7k tandem axle from PJ. I think either model you mention would work, I would take the flat one with the taller gate, it would give you greater ground clearance. For larger tractors and equipment I really like a tilt trailer...

    kx040-4 Excavator DPF

Welcome to the forum, I have a newish Kx040-04 and have the owners manual and work shop manual. The workshop manual excludes the engine and does not have a lot of info on the DPF system. The operators manual has a number of pages, see attached file. As you will see their should be different...

Safe Trailer Towing Capacity for L3901 - I'm Confused.

Thanks for all the comments and thoughts. I use my tractors a lot for moving around empty trailers, typically with a 3pt hitch receiver, I even move my large goose neck equiment trailer when empty and my 8,000 lbs travel trailer with my MX tractor, but all of that is slow and not going very far...

Tandem Axle Trailer Tongue and Tractor Drawbar At Different Heights

Thanks for all the input, I found out that the trailer in the video has a horizontal tongue as it was fitted with surge brakes, that's why the tractor in the video was fitted with a vertical post from the drawbar, it was a solution to enable the use of the surge brakes. The manufacturer...

    So Many Ways to Go

I agree with what PoBoySaid, I would highly recommend an MX5800 or similar in HST, make sure you have front 3rd function and 2 sets of rear hydraulic remotes. My MX5800 has great capability and will do anything and run anything on my woodland forestry property that is about 5 times your new...

Safe Trailer Towing Capacity for L3901 - I'm Confused.

I'm confused with the Implementation Limitation information in my Operators Manual. Sorry if I'm being repetative as I raised this on several prior threads that were not directly about the tow limits. The maximum trailer load is quoted at 2,200lbs but ignores the actual trailer weight, this...

    Woods BH90-X Backhoe

Based on their current product range it looks like it would fall into the 1,300lbs range and possibly 1,400lbs with the thumb and extra cylinder. I considered buying one of their smaller models but eventually went with a standalone small excavator. Looks like you already have one. Woods make...

Road Safe Dump Trailer that a B series can also pull

Lost boy, welcome to the forum, that is a nice little road dump trailer. It is unfortunately 1,875 lbs in weight empty, great for road use behind your pickup as it would allow you to safely pull a load of 5,125lbs. I went back to my Kubota operating manual to re read the recommended trailer...

    Use power rake on loader

I borrowed the rear pto power rake that I used, the last couple of times I leveled some ground that was freshly cleared of small trees and bush I used a rototiller and had a buddy on a smaller tractor running over the tilled ground with a large chain harrow, it worked out great.
