    leaking cylinder

Same situation as you. Third season of use and immediately started leaking. I have cycled it countless times and still leaking. Ordered a replacement seal kit from Kubota and will install when I get time. Strang how we all started to leak at the same time.

    cylinder rebuild

So I checked with the hydraulic shop I have always used and there are too busy. Maybe after the holidays was there reply. Have the seal kit ordered and will be in soon. Looking at some videos and the picture on Messicks it looks like there is a hard plastic seal that needs installed. Am I going...

    cylinder rebuild

Wish I found this in the fall so I had more time to deal with it. Going to give a local hydraulic shop a call to see on price and time for a repair. Don't want to get it apart and can't get it back together.

    cylinder rebuild

Winter has arrived in this part of Canada and I thought everything was ready to go. Put the subframe on for the front blower and discovered the hydraulic cylinder is leaking. Will call Kubota for a seal kit tomorrow. Never rebuilt a hydraulic cylinder but have redone tons of front shock. Doesn't...

Gas station etiquette. Pull through at the island.

Totally agree with you. Also if the station has a vender selling items in the lot, fruits ,veg, ect. Finish your fueling and move so the next person can fill up. Don't leave your vehicle to go shopping.

    removing steering wheel

That puller will not work for you due to its design. Not sure what you would use as its all plastic and a 3 jaw puller would probably break it. When I took mine off I was able to tap it lightly with a dead blow hammer. Didn't take much for it to move.

Steering Wheel Spinner knob for B2601

The only question I have is where are you trying to secure it? As per "85Hokie" at the tee or on the outer ring? I mounted mine on the ring.

    Cold Weather Diesel Fuel

I got caught on this one year and had diesel from the summer still in tank when winter came. Lesson learned I use an additive for every single tank of diesel that get used. Never have to worry what's in the tank.

    Trigger Pulled on B2601

Absolutely get a block heater, your tractor will love you for it. Have a 55" front blower and using turfs, no chains. Tires are loaded and have had zero issues with traction, except when we get freezing rain. At that point I spread stone chips on the driveway and because its gravel they blend in...

    Getting a B2601 (finally)

Had one for 3 yrs and absolutely love it. In the process of cleaning up rocks from farming the field and am amazed at the size rocks it will handle.

    New B2601 w/ RCK60-32 Mower Deck

I can only comment on one item. Your steering is hydraulic and therefore the steering wheel can move from being centered. If you have it running ang turn the wheel all the way left or right and hold it there the hydraulics will bypass and the wheel will continue to turn. That's why if you put a...

Big hydraulic fluid leak under right rear axle

If you didn't remove the drain plugs then how would you expect to get all the fluid out. Especially any crud that is laying on the bottom. If your not going to do it correctly then why bother. You need to check the level and yes it's difficult to see but not impossible.

    Bx2200 overfilled with oil

Even if the wrong filter was installed the person doing the work should have verified by checking level on dipstick. Very poor service.

    3 point backhoe

Don't want to get into any discussion on how a 3 point backhoe is dangerous or possibly breaking tractor. This post is for anyone who has doubts about getting one. Family neighbor has a backhoe that I used today for a simple sump pump trench. We hooked it up to the b2601, he has a Kioti CK25, so...

    B2630 mid PTO issues

When you say it won't go in do you mean the lever will not go into position or nothing happens when lever moved? Just this weekend had a tough time getting mid pto to work. The lever was almost seized from not being used for a couple of weeks. Sprayed all the linkages and now moves like butter.

Anybody use a box blade WITHOUT top & tilt?

Have a box blade and only way to adjust is using the adjustable top link. Don't have rear remotes. It is a pain but only takes a minute to adjust. I have it marked for level and tilted up for finishing.

    Mid PTO help

The output shaft is the same style as on my B2601. When I'm using the front blower the I have to install the driveshaft. On the output it slides over but has a locking collar to keep it from coming off. Kubota calls it a "spring lock yoke assembly".
