Thanks. I already charged it. So far the tractor has started, just turns over slow and took a little more cranking.

    Glow Plug Brand?

Hi all, The temps are dropping in northern Indiana and it has me thinking about cold starts for my BX2200. So far it has started down below freezing, but doesnt fire off as fast. I was wanting to have a new set of glow plugs on hand incase I need them. This is my first winter with it. Is there a...

    BX2200 Moving Camper

In the questions section someone asked about that. Here was their reply " The Tow Tuff 2-in-1 trailer dolly weight capacity is referring to the tongue weight and not the gross vehicle weight. " So the 1000lbs is referring to the tongue weight

    BX2200 Moving Camper

I would be using a 3pt hitch receiver if I was planning on moving the camper normally. I do like the idea that BigG suggested. With it the tractor would not be required to support the tongue weight of the trailer. I would just need to look into it a little more to make sure the dolly will handle...

    BX2200 Moving Camper

Thanks for all the input. The other night I needed to move the trailer back a few feet. The FEL had enough power that it could just about lift the trailer tongue. It got it light enough that I could push it back the few feet I needed fairly easily. Not sure if I will try it or not. Probably jet...

    BX2200 Moving Camper

Hi all. I have a couple of 30ft campers that I have to move around my property from time to time. Usually just 20-50 ft. Sometimes back to our pond to camp for the weekend. I was wondering if anyone has done this with their BX. My land is flat without obstacles. Pond is in the middle of the 5...

    Best Guess?

If you do it on a flat smooth surface it isn't bad to remove and fairly quick. The worst part for me is pulling the deck out from under the mower after it is detached since I usually end up doing it in the yard. The deck is pretty heavy and the wheels don't roll that great on grass. Besides...

    Best Guess?

I just purchased a BX2200 that looks identical to the pics for $6000. It came with a FEL, 60" MMM, a set of AG tires, a set of turf tires and quite a few other spare parts. I feel I got a pretty good deal compared to other similar listings in my area. I almost had a pair of pallet forks too, but...

Got another kubota ,mower deck question B7500

Process sounds the same as my BX2200. Not overly difficult or time consuming. Doing it on a concrete floor where the deck can roll easily makes it a lot easier. Unfortunately, I am usually stuck doing it on grass in the yard. The deck isn't light and kind of a pain to have to He-Man in and out...

    Backhoe on a BX2380?

I had watched a number of videos about the subframe issue in general and why not to use a 3pt backhoe on a subcompact. Has anyone looked in to non-Kubota backhoes with the bolt on subframe attachment that could fit the BX Kubotas?

    BXpanded Pressure Test Instructions

I purchased a hydraulic pressure test kit to check my new to me BX2200. Looks like a quality unit and simple to use. I do have a couple of questions for my tractor though. 1. In the instruction it references what I believe is a newer hydrolic setup (see pic). I do not have color coded connectors...

    New BX owner

This is true. I just moved to a 5 acre home that hadn't been maintained. Too much for my rider to handle so I bought a used BX2200. One of the best purchases I have ever made. Amazing at what I can accomplish with it. Everyday my back thanks me. To the OP, I would be interested in hearing how...

    BX2200 A couple issues

Just an update in issue #1. I picked up a 30A relay at the autoparts store and wired it up for the starter as recommended. So far so good!! The starter has turned over immediately the last couple of days with it.

    BX2200 front axle fell out

I felt around behind the gear with my fingers as best I could and didn’t feel anything. The gear spun easy. I will fish with my magnet some to see if I pull anything out. Not sure why it broke. Don’t know the exact year. It is a BX2200 so that puts it in the 18-20 yr old range I believe. I am...

    BX2200 front axle fell out

Took it all apart and everything looks in good shape. No cracks or gear damage to be seen. Bearing look good and tight. The pieces of the split collar are no where to be found. I will go though it again to make sure before installing the new one.

    BX2200 front axle fell out

Thanks. I hopped on the computer this morning and checked out the diagram. I will inspect it all when I take it apart. The split collar is only about $14 online, so I hope that’s all it is.

    BX2200 front axle fell out

Hello, I was working with my BX2200 earlier today and while using the FEL my right front axle fell out (the whole hub assembly with the tire still attached). I was able to use the loader to lift the front, slide the axle/hub back in and limp it to the garage. I did a quick inspection and I...

Broken connector and blown 30A fuse

Everything seems to be working as designed. I do have an intermittent starting issue where I have to jump the starter from time to time. I purchased a relay to fix it, just haven't installed yet. A previous owner appears to have bypassed stuff like the seat safety switch etc....if it ever had one.
