Welcome. Make sure to look through the fabrication section. A lot of great ideas on making things better

Glad to have you here!

Also look for some under armor to protect the HST fan and maybe you want a toothbar to double the digging power of your FEL;)

I saw the under armor, but is it necessary with the MMM? I don't plan on taking it off very often. I do like the piranha bar though.

I thought the same thing....... but then I would run over some sticks and see them magically get around the mower deck - BUT most under armors will not install WITH the deck in place! Unless you plan on going in the woods over brush and sticks - may not be necessary. The toothbar is money WELL spent - I have used mine over the last 7 years and it is even a bit dull on the cutting edges, but still works well!

After 16 years I have had no issue with the fan on my BX. I keep the mower on almost all the time. Of course, it only takes ONE stick. ;)

Around 1300 hours on the tractor...could. be more. Have to take a look...

Congratulations and welcome to the addiction. You'll get a lot of work out of that tractor. Though it will be with smaller bites. I'm always amazed at the work these little tractors can do.
Welcome aboard.

This is true. I just moved to a 5 acre home that hadn't been maintained. Too much for my rider to handle so I bought a used BX2200. One of the best purchases I have ever made. Amazing at what I can accomplish with it. Everyday my back thanks me.

To the OP, I would be interested in hearing how you like the BX1880. I looked at a couple but decided on the BX2200 for a little extra power.

My now 2 year old BX23S came WITH a fan guard,so maybe have a look under neath, maybe they're 'standard equipment' today ?
When using the loader, you'll need extra rear weight, especially when moving full loads of dirt or stone. Options include 'loaded' tires, wheel weights or 3PH 'carryall'. As you have a MMM, I'd think the 3PH carryall would be the better choice. The other two make the machine heavy for mowing the grass.
While most here rave about the pirahana bar I got 'sticker shock' and made my own from free scrap steel. While it doesn't have the hard edge,it sure digs and claws like a bear ! Once a year I sharpen the points.

Jeremy,

I like it, and haven't pushed it beyond what it can handle. Most of its now 25 hours are used to mow, but it is really appreciated when hay arrives or we need to move larger things to the back. Bought a 3-pt fertilizer spreader for it and over-seeded the pasture. Big time and back saver. Need a pair of forks for sure.
