    Block Heater Install

Man that X10 stuff is super old, I had no idea they were still in business! One of the first home automation companies. I am betting you got the early present so you have no more excuses to not keep the driveway plowed of snow!

    New L2501

What would be really cool is a BB that doubles as a carry all with ballast capabilities. Weld a quick attach piece on the top that allows you to pin in a carryall box, maybe some trays at the bottom for weights. Now I have the perfect excuse to learn to weld! My wife will be thrilled.

    Which grapple for M7060

Do you already have 3rd function on the FEL? I went with the LandPride SGC1572. Expensive but got it with my tractor. It is awesome. The rake style allows you to double it as a landscape rake in lots of situations, so you can rake up brush and debris easily. I see lots with the longer...

    Plugging in your tractor

Ya maybe I should pick one up. My engine really doesnt sound that bad when I cold start it, but anything I can do to keep it in great condition is a good thing.

    Plugging in your tractor

Mine sits in unconditioned space. It has been down in the single digits at night a number of times thus far. I usually dont start it until around mid AM so that might make a difference. I treat the diesel, dont mess with a block heater. No issues thus far. I let it run at 1500 or so for...

    M7060 something went SNAP!

Owners manuals (at least the newer ones) specifically recommend tire ballast for certain tasks, and in fact give recommendations on how to fluid fill them. I dont think he will have an issue with having it warrantied.

Cinder blocks on a box blade

Or you could let the ground soften up a bit after a rain and probably get away with the BB by itself. If anything, start with much less weight at first and see how it goes. 250#, then 500#, and so on. You could also weld on some wheels to give it support at the rear.

Attachments for B3350SU w/ Skidsteer QD loader

First , congrats on the purchase! I would not buy farm implements at TSC, just my opinion. Other things, yes but something spinning and smacking rocks at high rpms or connected to my very expensive tractor PTO? No thanks. That said maybe others have positive experiences. I am sorry but I...

    Tree puller on a B2650?

Cutting off a dead ash tree 12 feet above the ground on a ladder? I don't think it is the tractor with the balls!

    HST vs Gear drive

If you can afford it, I see no reason not to get more HP if you are doing tasks that require HP (ie mowing, haying, snow blowing). You are just asking for trouble if you are on the edge of the capabilities of the machine. Now if there is absolutely no way you can afford the difference, then...

    Need Hitch and Implement advice

You could also consider a nice and heavy rear blade. It will take more getting used to, but has more uses IMO. Second easiest seems to be the BB, and easiest is the LP. Also it might be possible to rent a LP from your local tractor shops or rental yards. If you are only using it once a...

    Tree puller on a B2650?

Check on the rental price of a SS or Mini Ex. In my area, $250 delivered for the weekend. Fun to operate and you get to use up someone elses machine. Leave the M2650 for cleanup. You will also get done much faster.

    Mini Excavator Recommendations

KX040 is 40 HP and turbocharged. The U35 is 25hp and non turbo. It weights a few hundred more pounds. They do make JD 310, your are thinking about the 110 which they dont make. A chance, well it depends on the size of the tree. For serious trees, I agree 20 ton ex is the way to go! I...

    HST vs Gear drive

If a majority of my tasks were mowing or things that like a constant speed (haying, seeding, etc) I would get a geared with shuttle shift. If I didnt have these tasks...HST. We should all be wearing hearing protection anyway (over 85db) so the whine doesnt really matter. It doesnt bother me...

    Tree puller on a B2650?

Have you considered renting a skid steer with a stumper/puller or maybe a mini ex? Mini ex I would get around 4 ton. Please dont tear up your front end loader arms with a tree stump puller.
